1. This website is dedicated to pre-1980s Jeeps &/or Willys, though it mostly focuses on flat-fenders (MBs, GPWs, CJ-2As, CJ-3As, CJ-3Bs, M-38s, DJ-3as). If you want to post something (your build, your jeep or sale, etc), it is easy; just contact me.
2. Most of the content on this site relates to flatties that ARE or WERE for sale on craigslist and ebay. My interest here is to help people buy & sell Jeeps & parts; to educate about 'old school' modifications and available parts; to make connections with other Willys Enthusiasts; and to entertain.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners; for the most part, that is what you will find in this section. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps.
(Soon) This section covers tips for buying and selling jeeps. Hopefully, this information will help you buy what you want and sell what you have.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project".
The Showcase shows off thousands of images and posts of many different jeeps that are/were for sale or submitted by readers over the last few years.

Because so many parts are interchangeable, because the factory inter-changed some parts, because many jeeps are titled for the year they were sold, rather than manufactured, and because many people have cobbled together jeeps to keep them running, Identifying a jeep can be difficult and, in some cases, impossible.

Find a local service provider that knows early jeeps can be a challenge as well. I've gathered a brief list of service providers in the States.
There are many good forums out there that specialize in different jeep models. So, I'd rather point you to those sites rather than try to duplicate those efforts here.
Hello, I'm David Eilers and welcome to eWillys.com, a website that highlights my jeep interests .. pre1984 jeeps with an emphasis on flatfenders.
On this site you'll find various online or offline deals, interesting reader projects, jeep parts, jeep related info, and a whole lot more. I hope you find your time here interesting, fun, and informative.
As this section grows, Readers will see that most museums house one or two token, stock, military or civilian jeeps (of course, many of these have important histories). Instead, the largest collections of jeeps are in private hands. Thankfully, these private investors and collectors have helped save and restore some very rare vehicles.
That said, it seems a shame to me that one of the most unique vehicles ever created and having a most unique history, both military and civilian, does not have a facility that properly tells the story. That's what I want to see built.

Thanks so much for posting your pictures ,, you’ve given me ideas for my 1959 3B being mounted on a 1974 CJ-5 for the steering.. Just one of the things I dream about on how im going to run it,, Its going to have a AMC 360 in her… Thanks again ,,

Paul, if you get tired of the cold and want to thaw out, I have an extra bedroom here in Georgia plus a ’62 Wagon to play with. You will have to wear sun glass’s 24/7 when driving or walking around it.

Paul, Your craftsmanship is outstanding. I enjoyed looking at your pictures and reading about your build. I also liked your sense of humor, especially about the bus load of nuns. Wow……..what a craftsman………..I spoke with Paul years ago but moved and lost contact. Hopefully we can touch basis again…….I also own a stainless willys for years now……and here are some of the build photos below.
