This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 Willys CJ-3A 4×4 Jeep with the Buick Dauntless 225 V-6 engine. Jeep has many NEW PARTS, like Battery, brake drums, brake master cylinder, alternator, carb choke, radiator electric fan, turn signals, parking lights, tail lights, vinyl bikini top, front seats, Instrument gages, and probably some other things I’ve forgotten. It has been partially painted with flat black to protect the tin. Tires are in excellent condition, and there’s a spare. It starts, runs, and drives, (2 and 4 wheel drive work), but it’s still a project in progress. It still needs a few things, like some body work, paint, a parking brake, and any custom work, that would turn it into a special attention getter, or rock climber.

Needs some work. It’s listed as a 1948 CJ-3A and looks more 3A than 2A.
