“1953 Willy’s CJ3B. Jeep was completely rebuilt in 2016. All running gear is replaced or rebuilt. The engine, trans, and running gear have 17,048 miles. That’s around 2000 miles per year. Jeep is loud and quick with tons of power. I have it geared for driving around town and running errands. The jeep has never been off road or wheeled.

The body of the Jeep is an extremely rare Parkette Body. A small amount of these were made in the 70s. They are light and known for their toughness. Seats in the tub are moved back 4” to accommodate a taller driver. I am 6’4” and fit great with the CJ5 tilt wheel.

Mechanically the Jeep is perfect. Cosmetically its not perfect, but gets thumbs up and smiles wherever I drive it. Could use a paint refresh and tub lining, but I personally like it with some character.

“Sadly due to financial woes I have to part with my Willy’s Jeep project. I have been saving it to restore and sell to raise money for a camp for troubled youth, but I just don’t have anymore personal resources to support this mission. Strong engine and transmission. It was running and driving around the block up here last year, but I recommend a mechanic tune it up before trying to move it any distance. I had all new brake lines installed. I have several boxes of parts as I was in the middle of upgrading the 6volt system to 12volts and changing out the lights to support that system. “Clean WV Title. Has been vin inspected in KS. I didn’t get the title in KS because I’d have to register it. 1956 CJ3B. Gone through, not restored. Runs. Compression was 100-115 #4 being the lowest. Rebuilt carb. Tub is welded back together and solid, not pretty at all lots of new parts. Frame is good front to back. Needs a drivers seat and brakes all the way around. Transmission, high and low and 4×4 works as it should, but i haven’t driven it too far or fast as there are no brakes. New gas tank 5 new tires/tubes as of 4 months ago New gauges Fuel line is needs installed new radiator and hoses new battery new wipers w/motor New windshield Spare rim”

“This is a 1953 Willys CJ3B jeep. Total rust free jeep with some goodies on it. Restored 20 years ago and rebuilt motor, Hurricane inline 4, Runs like a sewing machine. Custom front bumper to hold the rare winch Warn 8274, has Warn locking hubs, Warn overdrive. Custom rollbar with jerry can. 3 speed trans. Good clutch. 4×4 works great. I currently drive this jeep daily to the store etc. Great little jeep for around town and crawling in the mountains. It gets attention everywhere. Comes with a bikini top and a full black tiger soft top and soft doors. I also have some original parts that came off it as well.”
