Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This CJ-2A has a rear PTO generator with a welder and a Oxy/Acetylene setup. It’s probably been upgraded to a F-head, but still a cool old setup.

Several people sent me a link to the Hemmings article. The seller is claiming the jeep was a crate jeep. The notes by the folks that commented underscore my feelings.

Doug spotted this solid looking restorable MB/GPW. It appears to have combat rims, too. It is listed as a 1946 Military Jeep.
