This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Roger bought this kids’ jeep book at a nearby military show so we could document it. It’s a small book, 3 1/8″ x 4 1/2″, and is only 8 pages in length, including the front and back cover.
This book appears to contain lots of bulletins.
“From an old dealership comes this binder of service bulletins mostly from the late 1950’s to mid 1960’s for Kaiser, Willys, Jeep…I have taken pictures of the categories covered…in well used condition, but I suspect useful to those who still have some of these antique vehicles…good luck and please check our feedback and other fine items from our home to yours.”

“Vintage large paper children book: “Make Sticker Pictures No Paste Need – No. #1565-15 – Fine Books For Children by Merrill Company Publishers” on both front & back cover – please see above all scan picture & condition – NOTE: about this large book, I had difficult take large picture of problem tablet, so use my scan machine is small, please see 1st scan picture of center of book, 2nd scan is on top of book & 3rd scan is bottom of book (you can see them?), show you only 3 pictures of inside pages that problem with my scan picture, about inside pages had 16 pages total include 4 full colorful stickers (never removed/still gum on back and only 8 tanning paper pages with black pictures; 1 page is Fire Chief Arrives, 2 page is Color This Picture (Ladder Frie Truck), 3 page is Fireman Go Into Action, 4 page is Color This Picture (Train engine with cards), 5 page is Tanker & Moving Trucks, 6 page is (4 small different pictures) of crawl shovel & dump truck, Gasoline Truck, Bulldozer, & Cattle Truck, 7 page is Steam Shovel & 2 Dump Trucks, and 8 page is 3 different pictures of A Horse Races Train, Streamline Out West, & Trough The Farmlands ..”
Anyone know anything about these books? I’ve never run across one.

Dust Jacket Condition; POOR has been torn in half with a piece missing. Is now sandwiched between the pages. Also has a copy of West Coast Willys Newsletter laid in from Sept 1996″

This was on eBay. I bid on it for a while, but it got too rich for me. Finally sold for $199.35. Congrats to whomever won it!
“This is a original Willys Jeep Dealer Sales Catalog, the front page is dated 1965. This is roughly 103 sheets of original brochures from Jeep and the Accessory Manufacturers in a three ring binder, making it about 206 pages of information. The front cover says Government Sales. It has the Jeep Universal and Cab Forward models along with all specifications and every approved accessory I could think of and a lot I would never have thought existed. Some pretty interesting accessories from the expected winches, lockout hubs, PTO’s, Cabs, etc. to the unexpected like complete fire fighting units, agriculture equipment, street sweepers, camper shell, aftermarket bodies, wreckers and on and on. The photos just show some of the pages, I used up all of the photos just showing some of the content. It is used and out of dry storage in dry New Mexico so there is no mustiness to it. The pages look like they have been used very little, however it is 50 years old so there is some expected shop wear from age, nothing real major that I could see. I think the photos pretty much show the treasure trove of information in this book better than I can explain it.”

Another copy of this Bob Clemens book is for sale.
“Notes: Willy’s Overland Motors. 1943. Very Good paperback. Clean, unmarked. No names or inscriptions. Blue pictorial cover with Red and white lettering and pictorial design. Edge wear to spine. This is a rare first edition The Military Jeep Model MB GPW by Lawrence Nabholtz. According to what I’ve read copies of this book go for high prices.

It’s highly sought after in the Military Vehicle collecting world. It covers many aspects of the Jeep that you will not find any where else.
It’s been long out of print, and the author has passed on. This is the Original, 1st edition, which was limited to 1000 Numbered copies, this one being #0943. It’s 8.5×11 and 63 pages.
I bought several of these for family and friends when first published. I recently found this extra one in a sealed plastic storage tote, where it’s been since new.”
