This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Jeep CJ2A Project. Body and frame are rough. Includes repairable tub from 1949 CJ2A. Engine and trans are currently removed. Engine is disassembled, but all parts are there. Crank and block are machined and ready to rebuild. Sold as is as a project. Can also include an extra set of axles for an additional $250.”

“Selling my 1946 Willys Jeep. This is the Civilian Model with three on the tree. It is Street Legal and Off Road Ready. This is great for around town and off-road…great hunting vehicle. Runs and looks great. This goes up the steepest of terrains with low gear 4WD like a tank. Many Extras: new soft top, extra rebuilt starter (original), outdoor rain cover, custom raised back bench, custom safari seat covers from Africa, tow hitch, tow harness and more. Easy to maintain. $2500 each or $4000 for both. The 3B has the passenger side vent, and no script on the hood, so it might be later 60s model. The ‘1945’ has rear floaters, but might be a 3A.

“I’m selling a cj2a from 1946 because I just don’t have time to finish it as I planned. I have done a lot of work to it such as: boxed in the frame, adapted Buick v6 motor mounts, adapted 1978 3” cj5 springs for a really nice ride along with a 4” lift, I put a amc 20 rear end in it along with a Dana 30 disc brake front end, it has a “shovel” cross member/skid plate(this makes the frame very strong and protects the tranny well). I have all the body parts but the hood. It has factory 1978 chrome cj5 wheels. All parts are in good shape, no rot. It has original vin tag.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $17,500. It’s listed as a 1948, but it has a VEC serial number of 22189.
