Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Early column shift 1946 Willy’s cj2a. Very rough! Front 1/3 of frame has been cobbled together, back half not terrible. Tub is beyond repair. Rear axle complete and rolls. Front axle missing pass side hub, brake, and leaf spring. Engine is missing parts but I believe it’s free, and has black oil in it still, I believe it’s a good rebuilder. Transmission and tcase there, condition unknown. No title. This was my yard art for many years but no where to keep it now”

These are rough. The 3A has a PTO, winch, and some Dualmatic hubs.
“Selling both projects–together or separate. CJ3a has small block ford engine with Allstate Ramsey PTO winch, and original 4 wheel drive with dualmatic hubs. I believe its a 1951. The Willys Truck is a 1950 1/2 and is a 2 wd has the L134 engine and needs the radiator. The transmission will need to be rebuilt. The tailgate is the original Willys Overland logo, this alone is highly sought after as well as the fenders and hood. They do not make them like this anymore. Running with the Patina look is currently going at 25000 plus!! The CJ3a is going for 500 and the Truck for 500. Take them both for 900. Let me know if interested. I am in Corpus Christi but will meet to show.”

This appears to be a CJ-3b with the rear of a GPW attached.
“Vintage 48-53 Willys Jeep CJ. Barn find. Original drivetrain (F134 Hurricane engine, T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front, Dana 44 rearend). Custom pusher, rollcage. Converted to 12 volt system. Brought it home as a project but wife is not cool with her car left out in the rain while the jeep is in the garage. I have not tried to start it yet as I only have weekends to tinker with it. The only thing I’ve had time to do is clean out the debris and do some research on Willys. Great rare find with lots of potential for the right person. $1500. Not interested in any trades at this time.”
This is sitting a junk yard in Pendleton. Not much value here.
