This has an interesting gizmo on the dash … looks similar to a tv remote. Possible a security addition?

“Titled as a 1958 Jeep. Has an excellent condition complete fiberglass body so no rust anywhere. It has a rebuilt SBC 283 with power pack heads out of a 58 Corvette with a brand new Edlebrock carb. It also has a Muncie 4 speed with all new clutch assembly. The tires are brand new with only about 10 miles on them. The top is in excellent shape with all good windows. The interior has all new carpet and new seats with new seatbelts along with a overhead console with an under dash stereo holder mounted to it and interior light. I have not had this Jeep vey long but have dumped a ton of money in it. I would like to find a Model A pickup so me and my dad could restore 1 more before he cant do it anymore. $9500.”

“Here is my 1948 CJ2A. Currently has brand new brakes and lines, brand new head gasket, battery, and radiator. Frame and Tub are very clean, Engine runs very well, just burns oil when cold. Oil pressure is strong as seen in picture of gauges. Clutch, trans, and transfer case feel very good and 4wd works great on this jeep. I’m firm on the price but open to offers, no trades. I have extra seats, fabric and lights in the back of the jeep as well as a bikini top, before the jeep looked like this it used to be a military replica and the previous owner painted it red.”
Has some minor mods. Looks promising.

3 inner door handle rubber trim rings – very good condition.
1 wagon “inside” spare tire mount. – good condition.
2 pc wagon tailgate trim – can be salvaged very easy.
2 metal pushbutton door trim rings – perfect condition.
4 metal door handle trim rings – good condition.
1 pr orig. wagon taillight lenses and trim – fixable if had to be.
4 glove box locks – 2 each style – good condition.
3 glove box arms.
3 glove box doors ( dash ). Perfect shape.
1 horn button – good – needs paint.
3 pr outer door handles – no keys, good condition.
5 inside door lock / latch mech. All in good condition.
2 pr rubber tailgate bumpers – wagon
2 sets wagon license plate hinges and plate holder.
1 pr wagon inner tailgate latch handles
3 pc heater defrost duct from 54’ truck – good condition.
1 pr glass beaded headlight assemblies – excellent condition.
3 pushbutton door lock mechs – good condition.
1 fresh air intake grille and bezel from 54’ pickup grille.”
