Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/03/2022) This project bears a body serial number of 17088. It’s got an early windshield. The shifter is on the floor. The body has rust.

This looks nice, though neither the windshield nor the body have been restored to original. The transmission shifter is on the floor, rather than the column.
“Looking to sell my cj2a 1945 Willys sn-601. 3606 miles from frame off restoration. 500 miles from new paint to 1945 color sheme. I have a binder of the details, spare tire mounted on extra tailgate, green canvas top, shop manual and assorted jeep stuff/parts that goes with it. It is great!
