Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Houston, we have a problem: just seeing an exclamation point in a button-like circle, and not letting me “click” anywhere.
Disregard (delete?) previous comment. My IE locked up and rebooted… resolving the issue. Should I be using Firefox or Chrome, instead?
Joe,
In short, yes. IE has almost always been behind in its adoption of CSS standards. It’s buggy nature made buildings websites more difficult. A whole subset of IE programming hacks were developed to make the web world IE brewer users saw similar to the ones Mozilla/Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Chrome saw. (though it is also important to state that all browsers have little quirks that must be considered when building sites).

I enjoyed this a lot, thanks Dave!
Does anyone remember Pewe’s shop, Republic Off Road, in Tempe, Arizona? I used to frequent his place quite often.
Bob, I didn’t know Rick had owned a shop. I found a reference to it in this short bio on him (http://outdoorchannel.com/rick-pewe-jeep-expert), but couldn’t find any pics of the shop.

Does anyone know where to find the Phoenix to Fairbanks story? Also, I remember hearing of a blog about a trip from the Mexican Border to the Canadian Border in Flat Fenders all on dirty roads. Has anybody ever seen this trip report? It was supposed to have happened in the last 3 to 5 years.
Matt,
That doesn’t ring bell to me. Sounds interesting.
Matt, the Phx to Fairbanks story, are you referring to the trip Rick took with his dad in their restored MB? (I think it was an MB) If memory serves me, I believe it was covered in JP magazine when Rick was editor, but that was years ago, so I could be wrong…..
Might need to do some googling.
Im asking about 2 separate stories. The Pewe story is one. The other is a border to border trip in a flat fenders where they only traveled on dirt roads. IIRC it was 2 flatties one with a flathead and the other had a 231 swap.
This sounds like a potential post. I haven’t had any luck finding the IIRC trip, but found these links:
