Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Willys Jeep, 4 cylinder, 12 volt, runs good, needs some carb adjustment, good tires. No spare tire and no top.
Comes with original pto winch and tow bumper. I have a complete 6 cylinder motor that I had planned to replace the 4 cylinder with.”

“Hello I have a 1946 Willy’s CJ2A Jeep for sale. It was purchased as a project. It still needs some work. 12v system 3 speed transmission with overdrive unit (6 speeds total) twin stick 4 wheel drive. New tires rebuilt flathead, needs to be finished up in the engine bay. Interior has new seats, new gas tank, other misc new parts all mainly in the interior.”

“Nice complete jeep, runs and drives very good. Comes with a complete soft top, frame and doors in very good condition. New battery a couple months back. This has an aftermarket heater which works awesome. Has the original drivetrain it, the flathead 4 cylinder, etc. The only issue right now is it has an oil pan leak but is very useable as is…..this is not being sold as an original jeep as it has some aftermarket sheet metal. Comes with a back seat and seat belts for 4. This gets a lot of attention every trip out.”l
