“This is an original 1962 USMC M38A1 Radio Jeep S/N 87346
This Jeep was used by the Civil Air Patrol for many years
It is complete and original except for the Bubba Roll Bar
It sat neglected for many years and rust has taken its toll
This is a good Jeep for parts I doubt it’s worth restoration, but that’s up to the Buyer.
Everything under the hood is about as original as they come, unfortunately the Engine is stuck
All fording and 24-volt Equipment is intact.
Radiator holds water and antifreeze was present in block.
This year model has the Locking Front and Rear Differentials.
The Jeep alone in parts is worth the Buy it Now price, but I’m open to offers.
I do have the 4 original wheels and a good transferable VA Title that matches Data plates
Feel free to reach out with questions
I can arrange delivery on the East Coast for a fee.”
The price works out to be about $18,400 USD. Bill shared this nice looking Canadian M-38A1. I’m not sure what it would cost to import into the US.

“Was going to use body for my own restoration but now looking at something different. Body is mostly good but will need new floor pan. -does not include windshield frame -does not include tire carrier or roll bar -drivetrain has a rear axle (original I believe) front axle with transfer case & T-90 transmission mated to a 4.2 liter V-6. -no steering column but there is a power steering pump attached -tires are flat & vehicle will need to be put on a trailer”
The recoiless rifle is real.

“1952 Willys M38A1C Recoiless Rifle Carrier w/ 106mm Recoiless (inhert) Recoil rifle is not a mock up. It is the real deal. Very nice condition, no cancer , very clean, very complete. Has had frame off restoration in late 80s. Garage kept since Only issue; hops out of 2nd gear at times Otherwise very nice vehicle.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6800.

“1954 Jeep Willys, BBC 8-71 Weiand supercharger, 4 bolt main, blower built motor, runs on pump gas, built TH-350 with stall converter, manual valve body. Registered, insured, tags good until June 2025. Cash is preferred, but trades considered,”
There’s a lot going on here. It appears to be an M-38A1 body that sits on a non M-38A1 frame. That may have a CJ-3B hood grafted onto an M-38A1 hood?

I have good spare engine comes with, original one that’s in it sat to long n needs work but I’m sure its probably fixable too. It’s fresh out of a barn, no rust or rot but it’s def been worked. $1900 obo.”
It runs and drives.

“4 cyl. Hurricane engine
Runs/ drives
No surprises that are known
12,000 lb. Warn winch
Needs the wiring redone because it was crumbling but not a big job.
Good restoration project
odometer is broken
$4500 or best offer”
I had this post completed, but that was before I realized this may have a $16k price tag (I’m unsure on the exact price). Anyway, I thought the rear bumper was unusual. This has a Kelly hardtop.
