Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1966 Willys Jeep Trencher. Engine fires right up, trencher works great. Title in hand.”
Mike spotted this trencher. It’s not far from him. He said he’d be willing to look at it for someone. I’m surprised this doesn’t have duallies on the back. It does have a rear pto gear box sitting in the jeep as well, so it seems there is some definite parts value here.

“1969 Cj5 “Go-For-Digger” Dually. Came factory with a plow and a back hoe that i don’t have. The Jeep is now mostly disassembled and will need restored. Ran when took apart, I’m sure it can still run. Has rust in the tub but frame is good. I can send current pictures. Have PTO front and rear. F134ci 4 cylinder and 3 speed.”

“Up for sale is a subdued brass plate from a Go For Digging Machine attachment for a military issued Willy’s Jeep. This brass plate 8″ x 5″ and is a really cool piece of military and Willy’s Jeep history.”
This jeep may be worth a look. It’s got a trencher on the back. Only 10,000+ miles on it.

I *think* this Go-For-Digger brochure features the trench on the back of an International D-1300 1 ton truck. Can anyone confirm this model? This brochure is Catalog No. 1865:
