“1945 WILLYS CJ-2A JEEP 4X4 PROJECT . 4CYL STD .THIS BELONGS TO A FRIEND OF MINE WHO PURCHASED IT A FEW YEARS AGO. HE HAD INTENTIONS OF RESTORING BUT SHOP IS OVER BURDENED WITH HIGHER DOLLAR RESTORATIONS ONGOING AND JUST CAN’T GET TO THIS RIGHT NOW. VEHICLE IS COMPLETE . MOTOR TURNS FREELY. FRAME IS SOLID. JUST GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A REDO. THIS VEHICLE WAS FROM THE LATE FRAMINGHAM MASS AUTO PLANT THAT WAS USED TO PLOW THE EMPLOYEE PARKING LOT. HAS WHATS LEFT OF THE 1958 INSPECTION STICKER STILL ON THE WINDOW. WAS STORED ON THE 3RD FLOOR OF THAT BUILDING FOR MANY YEARS. HE PAID $2300 FOR IT THEN . (10/22/2017) I know Willys jeeps can be underpowered at time, but calling the engine a Mohowk Chief just doesn’t seem right.

Looks in good shape.
“Restored Jeep from ground up. Original power train gone through and flat head four cylinder runs like a watch and uses no oil. Brakes at the wheels need some work as they leak fluid slowly. Probably just bleeder plugs. Other that that very nice. I would call it excellent condition. This is a civilian version of the Army Jeeps used in war time. It also has a new Holley fuel pump. Other than that, it is true to the period. It has 113 miles on the build. It has a clear title.”
