This 1961 CJ-6 hybrid appears in pretty good shape. But what inspired the design? Rust in the body maybe? Maybe something in the water in Maine?

I’m not one to argue who or what one does to their vehicle, so long it suits the intended purpose. so, I’m still questioning the purpose of this vehicle to reside with such modification. Boredom comes to mind.
