UPDATE: Now on eBay
(01/01/2014) Blue Belle has some good character.
“Testing the water here, this jeep had a fresh motor, new Firestone military tires, many new parts during semi resto. Driver this Jeep anywhere. Fires right up, delivery if needed.”

(08/14/2014) The jeep looks good, but better photos would help.
“1948 willys cj2a new 32inch mid terrain tires. Built 327 Chevy new interior radio iPod hookup flat black paint power steering new aluminum radiator 10,000 cash or trade for newer pickup plus cash no tattoos no low balling”
It has a rear PTO, but I don’t think it is hooded to anything.
“Selling this Willys CJ2A Jeep for parts or restoration. It is missing parts but may be a good start on a WWll Jeep project. Look at the photos and ask any questions. There is no title and rarely is on old jeeps. It will come as is just like in the photos. There is a vintage winch on the back of it that is worth quite a bit by itself. I just don’t have time for it. It’s not running but rolls freely. I know very little else about it. ”
Looks like it has a spring over mod.
“i have a 1948 willys jeep for sale or trade. the jeep has a flat head 4 cylinder willys go devil engine, racing buckets and harnesses, power steering, converted to 12v power system with bran new alternator, lincoln locker, bran new 31″ bfg mts, beadlock wheels, and fuel cell, and bran new master cylinder. call with questions or to set up a time to come see it.”
It’s rough. Has a good rear PTO.
“Jeep is complete minus a windshield frame. Engine is froze up from from spark plugs being out, rest of drivetrain seems solid and it was parked working. Has pto and drive shaft running to rear mounted pto winch. Winch and cable seem to be in good shape for age. Has two flat tires but if you bring two 16″ tires and tubes I can put them on. Tub is ruff but hood is great and passenger fender appears good. Lots of good parts or put a engine in it. Don’t want to sell but have to.
Winch and pto set up can be bought separate for $500 or
Asking $825 for everything as is, and I can help load.”
No pics provided.
“1947 Willy’s Jeep, 2nd owner, new carb & battery, hard cab, non military.”
It’s a project.
“reposted other deal fell through, major project all parts are there except seats and battery. new brake system–wheel cyl. master cyl. drums turned new brakes and some lines, last ran about a year ago- has a 4 cyl. chev engine everything else is stock. have Arizona title no vin plates. need to sell best offer email for pictures no text pictures thanks for looking.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $650.
(08/14/2014) I’m not entirely sure what body this is. It’s got a CJ interior, but doesn’t have a rear filler nor the right dashboard for a DJ. Maybe a replacement body?
“Another rare barn find. 1946 Willys Jeep, could be a military jeep because no tailgate. Has frame for top. Yes, it needs a lot of work. No, it doesn’t have an engine. Tires will hold air long enough to get on a trailer. Vehicle has been sitting many years. No title with purchase, just Bill of Sale. Not in DMV records any longer. Are you looking for something to do with your kids or by yourself? Thanks for reading.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
Appears to be a good price.
“Hunters and outdoors man heads up on a great flat fender Willy’s Jeep. Motor 283 Chevy small block, 4 speed aluminum transmission, bikini soft top, original windshield, tail gait, running gear, axles, transfer case, under seat fuel tank, even has the original bill of sale from 1948. Lots of original parts come with it. Fiberglass removable hood, 33-1250 tires, light bar, and tow bar. Ran in the Big Nasty a few years back and placed 6th. Set up for climbing or off road, has 4 point racing seats and bench, full role cage. This is a goat and will climb more than it should. Has been in some extreme places and preformed like you would expect an old Willy’s to. Won’t last long so jump on it while it is still being offered. Only reason I am selling is we have 2 of them and this is the one I chose to sell. ”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500
(08/27/2014) One runs and one doesn’t.
“I have two Willys CJ-2A flat fender jeeps for sale, a 1947 and a 1948. Both have PA titles in my name. The 1947 runs, drives and stops. The body is pretty rough, but complete. The floors have been replaced. There are rust holes in the tub and the top of the fenders. The frame appears solid. The brake system was replaced along with several other parts. It has good tires. The 1948 is complete, but does not run. The body is much cleaner than the 1947, mostly just surface rust, a few holes. The frame appears solid. The motor was seized and has since been disassembled. To get the motor out, I removed the hood, grill and fenders. All the parts were tagged and bagged. I have a spare motor, a set of gaskets and a new steel fuel tank. I am interested in selling one or both. I may consider parting them both out, as I expect they are worth more as parts than whole.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(03/08/2013) It needs a fuel pump.
“This jeep is all stock except the engine was swapped for a carbureted 225 Dauntless Buick V-6, i’m guessing out of a cj5.
Running gear is stock t90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer-case, and Dana 27 axles.
The body is overall in good to great shape with no cancer and minimal surface rust, minus the hood which has had a cowl scoop installed to clear the air filter, it could be fixed easily if one were to want to do so, and the passenger side rear corner was reinforced for a spare tire carrier that is no longer there.
The steering column has been changed to one with tilt, i have the original.
The seats i was told were out of a 70’s camaro.
The spare tire carrier is built into the rear bumper and uses a spare front hub to hold the tire.
It has a front tow bar and an extra 15-20 gallon tank in the bed under the rear seat.
The engine needs a fuel pump but does run as is, i just haven’t taken the time to replace it.
The soft top has some tares in the windows and may need some replaced.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4000.
“1947 willys with a buck v-6 3 speed tranny new aluminum radiator. Runs good fast and fun to drive new gauges. Looking to sell or trade for pre smog car text or call if you have any questions“

Lots of customizations.
“1947 Willys Jeep. Has clean title, currently non-opped. Has CHP assigned new vin #, pink slip in hand. Runs great, fires up every time even after sitting for a while.
The body is a little rough but the drivetrain is solid. Custom 2″ x 4″ steel box frame, Chevy 327 small journal motor with Edelbrock Quadrajet, intake manifold, and aluminum valve covers. HEI ignition, Electric fuel pump with automatic shut off. Chevy T-10 4 speed tranny mated to a Dana 20 T-Case. Axles are out of an ’86 CJ-5, Dana 35 front with ez-locker and AMC 20 in the back with Superior 1-piece axles and a brand new Detroit locker. 4.56 gears. Manual steering and brakes. Jeep also has full roll cage, welded by a professional shop. Cage bolts to fabricated frame mounts and can be removed. 4 point harnesses, Summit 16 gallon poly fuel cell replaced the under seat tank. This jeep is a blast in the desert or on the trail, will go anywhere you want. Also has a tow bar. Sitting on 33-12.5×15 tires and steel wheels with full size spare. Since it is non opped it will need to be towed, or I may be able to deliver on my flatbed trailer for some extra $$. Email preffered for any questions or clarifications, I’m not interested in any trades. Just had a baby and have to downsize, not acquire new projects.”
It’s a project.

Th 350 with shift kit mated to spicer 18 tc. Front and rear dana 44’s with 30 spline axles and detroit lockers and 4.27 gearing.auto meter guages almost new bfg mudterrains. The list goes on and on. The only way to appreciate this willys is to come look at it . No expense spared on the build.nice 6 point cage. etc etc. I want to trade for an everyday driver toyota extended cab 4×4 in excellent condition. No beaters as I have 3 toyota’s allready. I might consider other trades as well but no cars. Hit me up with offers accompanied by pictures of your trade. No dissapointments on this end. I have driven this on I-90 and over the pass quite a few times. It will do 100 mph if you wanted to do it but its a handfull at that kind of speed. Very dependable I would drive it cross country if I had to. Your trade needs to be the same way.
It has a perfect almost brand new bestop also that is on it now. You definately cant build this thing for myasking price. It has no odometer but I would guestimate that there are less than 5000. miles on the entire build more like 3000.”
Luis has 3 jeeps for sale.
“Have 2 1946s and a 1948 CJ-2A for sale together. The green 46 is complete but the motor and trans haven’t been installed yet and has a brand new carb.
