UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $500.
This setup has a Warn and a Borg Warner Overdrive.
“T 90 3 speed transmission out of an 80’s CJ 5 with Warn Overdrive. There is another reduction gear on the side of the tranny. I was going to use this in my Willy’s project but didnt need my wagon to be slow low geared.
Everything is in really good condition, I had the over drive off and it looks brand new inside. Overdrive has all parts which is rare to find, includes shifter and linkage. OD alone is worth the $500.
Looking to sell but not going to give this away, anyone with a old jeep or on going project realizes the value.”
UPDATE: This was priced at $1100. **Status Unknown**
Eric forwarded this ad. The ad’s title notes the overdrive is a rare Dualmatic overdrive. Herm has rebuilt these in the past. I couldn’t say if he still does or not.
“title says it all, and has cross member. got other tranfers and trannys also”
Roy spotted this ad.
“This is a Willys Jeep Dana Spicer model 18 transfer case. Has 1-1/4″ intermediate shaft
Includes the attached overdrive (Borg Warner or Studebaker?) it is not a Warn/Saturn OD
Call 6-6-1-7-2-2-9-7-9-6 between 8AM and 9PM only”
Not a bad price for a column shift T-90 and BW Overdrive. The Engine is seized.
“THIS IS A F HEAD ENGINE IT WAS ORIGINALLY OUT OF A 62 WILLYS WAGON 2WD IT IS JUST A CORE AS IT APPEARS TO BE SEAZED UP BUT HAS A 12 VOLT STARTER GENERATOR THAT CAN BE USED ALSO ON A L HEAD ENGINE THIS IS COMPLETE FROM FAN TO TRANSMISSION
TRANSMISSION IS A FACTORY COLUNM SHIFT 2WD TRANNY WITH BORG WARNER OVERDRIVE ENGINE TRANNY COMPLETE AS PICTURED $150.00”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $250
Overdrive’s don’t appear too often. Here’s a chance to snag a rare Borg Warner overdrive. Most of the overdrives that appear for sale are the Warn/Saturn style overdrive, which mount behind the input shaft of the transfercase. The Borg Warner overdrive mounts along the output shaft (or better put, intercepts the output shaft). Learn more about overdrives here.
“willys transmission transfer case and electric o.d. and adapter plate to bolt a ford 302cid or a 289cid bell housing too transmission is a t-90 3speed and the transfercase is a t-18 300.00 206-948-3213”
Note the SM420 + adapter +TC +overdrive (studebaker) for only $600.

I believe this is a rancho BW overdrive. Here’s a pic of one installed on an M-38a1. This was posted a month ago.
As a side note, I ran across a thread that suggested Rancho made an adapter plate to mount a rancho BW overdrive onto a Dana 20 tranny (‘herk’ comment 12/07/2007). I thought that was interesting. Sierra also made an overdrive for the Dana 20. Here’s an article on various overdrives from JP Magazine.
“used for a Jeep. Been sitting around need to get rid of it. Call Randy 775-266-4776 leave a message I’ll return calls in evening. Thanks”
I’m not positive, but I believe this version of the Borg Warner Overdrive can be used by a variety of 50’s and 60’s vehicles including jeeps with the dana 18 transfercase. Here’s an article that explores the overdrive issue on older jeeps.
“R10H-1 overdrive, Warner Gear Div., believe out of 50’s chevy? Good condition! $85 or trade for willys, cj parts.”
