Seller calls the engine a flathead, but it’s an f-head.
“This jeep runs and drives good. It is equipped complete with Warn winch and soft top. This jeep still has the flat head 4cyl. engine and three speed transmission. It also has brand new Buckshot tires. Call for more info. ”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(10/07/2015) It’s been parked for a few years.
“We are selling our 1955 Jeep/Willys. High hood, flat fender. 4cyl.Comes with new full top and doors.(not pictured) This would be a great fall/winter project. It ran when it was parked several years back. $4500.00 or offer.”
It appears to be a pretty original jeep, but it could use some restoration.
“1953 Willys Jeep CJ-3B, all original, flat-fender, first year of the “Hurricane Four” 4 cyl F-head motor. Original 6-volt electrical system, original oil-bath air cleaner, original vacuum motor windshield wiper. It has spent its whole life in the Oregon High Desert east of the mountains, so there is no significant rust, and was driven only locally for the last 50 yrs, so it has not been “put through the wringer.” Was driven occasionally and parked in back of the house for many years, and has been in a garage for the last several. It could probably be driven away, but has rarely been run for the last 15 years or so. Probably has gas varnished up in the fuel system, and should have a hi-detergent oil run a short while before an oil change, etc. It should probably be taken to its new home via a trailer for face-lift and/or restoration. Got a bunch more pics, email-able, if you’re interested —
No pics provided. Seems overpriced for something that needs work.
“Willy Jeep runs. Original parts. Does need work on fuel pumo and vacuum. 1952. I do have the original electrical harness for the electrical hook up. Asking 6000$ or best offer.”
UPDATE: Was $4500. Now Make Offer.
Brakes need some work.
“I have a 53 CJ3b Willys jeep. Original engine. starts and runs good. It has aftermarket air filter and fuel pump. I have the originals and are in working order. The seats are aftermarket. Tires are in good shape. This could be a nice jeep for someone that can put the time in.
The breaks could use some work and the clutch is at the end of it’s life.
Id be interested in a trade for a side x side or other reasonable trades”
Maybe some parts value here?
“I have for sale 2 willys cj3b jeeps, one is for spare parts and the other is 95 percent there. Neither one has a title and the engine is locked up, I put marvel down the spark plug holes but haven’t tried moving the flywheel. It may be good may not, it is missing the carb. I just have too many other projects and would like to make some room I don’t have to sell these, could maybe work on the price but not by much. If you are close could possibly help with delivery for a little extra.”
Looks pretty stock. It only shows 10,000 original miles, but the odometer cable could have broken.
“I found this Old Willys Jeep in a Barn way up in the Pennsylvania Mountains from a long time family friend, it’s only got 10,000 original miles on it, 4 cylinder 4×4, good dry cab, good glass, some rust here and there, hasn’t ran in years, I may mess with it and try to start it if I get a chance, clear title, great winter project,”
Seller will not ship.
“This is a brand new reproduction body tub for the mid-1952 – 68 CJ3B and M606. This is the high hood jeep with the 134F overhead valve four cylinder motor. This is just the tub. Everything you see on it comes with it. This is included the floor pans. This is ready to scuff up paint and install. This will need the gauge holes cut as well as the floor pan holes for the clutch, brake and accelerator pedals. Remember there are several different configurations of dash and gauges for this model. This is out of the original shipping crate and will NOT be shipped. This is a pick up item only. We have the means to load it in your truck or trailer. This is a great deal. This is a one time deal only!!!!
NO trades, NO Holding, NO down payments, NO farm animals, Cash and Cary only. This item is on ebay as well and can be pulled at any time if it sells. This is sold as is. Please calls only no Texts 8 to 5 week days.”
UPDATE: Price bumped to $4000
(10/10/2015) The “h-top is made for going through deeper water”? lol. Runs and drives.
‘Hi-top model with Chrysler engine, h-top is made for going through deeper water without flooding out. We also have the cab that fits over the body. Comes with spare tire. Runs great, two speeds in four-wheel drive, this is the ultimate mud truck for your deep camp. Now near Ellisville but may drive it up to near Starkville MS.”
Seth checked out this 2A-sort-of-turned-into-a-3B. He understandably decided to pass on purchasing it, but thought these photos were worth sharing.
Project with some value.
“Unfinished project. CJ3B with 350 Chevy adapted to T90 trans/D18 transfer case. Needs wiring, plumbing etc.. Too many projects, this one needs to go. ”
Not sure there is much value here.
“Up for sale is a 1950’s Willys Jeep don’t know the year but early 50’s. For parts has complete drive train. ”
This may be worth a look.
“957 Willys Jeep CJ3B. Runs and drives well. New wheel cylinders, master cylinder and flex brake lines. New fuel tank and rebuilt carburetor. Very little rust, the worst being the rear floor due to having a mat in it for years but it’s still very usable as is. Now it’s far from perfect but it functions like a Jeep should. With a new set of tires it will be a great Jeep. Price is $2800 so the first one with $2800 will take it away. No text. No trades. No help to sell it.”
“this cj3b is a rare find all original, except tire’s and wheels and top. dealer instaled winch and under coating, it’s the one that one never find’s or some one got there first. this is a one owner who passed it to his brother in the late nintys, and has been in the basment of the house for years. it wants to run good but seams to have a intake valve not seating probably from sitting, have more pic’s if needed, check my feed back and buy with confidence.”

David’s selling his nice looking CJ-3B. I’ve seen this one up close during my visit with him earlier this year. It’s as solid as it looks in the photos. He’s not interested in shipping it, so buyer will have to be local.
“Not overly enthused about selling my 62 CJ3B, but had some i$$ues come up and my hope would be to end up with a good replacement vehicle and enough cash to handle the “financials”. I’m NOT so dire in need as to be low balled on any deal however. If the right deal presents itself, we’ll BOTH be happy.
I bought this Jeep from a guy who had Olympic 4×4 do a whole bunch of $$$ upgrades, but hadn’t kept the receipts. Normally I’d be yeah, right to,BUT the stickers haven’t even peeled off from the brand new springs all the way around with skid plates facing ground on the u-bolts and new heavy duty shackles with 3 inch lift, new Rancho shocks, 11 inch Cherokee brakes, new (rear wheels) e-brake setup and cables, the T90 transmission shifts nicer than any Jeep I’ve driven. Has B&M shifter, Warn overdrive (shifts great–I can do the 1,2,2 OD, 3, 3 OD easily). I believe it has the Dana 27/44 differentials with 427 ratio (Jeep will maintain 60 in 3 OD at 2500 rpm) Saginaw power steering off a 1979 CJ5 with “JEEP” tilt steering/ignition locking post/wheel.
Might be worth a look.
“1958 willys for information you can email me would consider older pickup as part trade or atv”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4500
(10/17/2014) The steps have been updated, but looks like a solid 3B.
“1954 Willy Classic Jeep. 4 cylinder Ford motor 4 wheel drive, runs good. ”
