UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $400.
This combo won’t last long.
“jeep transmission and transfer case with overdrive only. motor not included $400″
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000
Should be of interest to someone.
“For sale the ultimate early CJ5, CJ6, CJ2, commando and CJ3B combo an upgraded t90 transmission with a twin stick dana/ spicer transfer case, with a warn overdrive and a Ramsey pto . Also included are the parts to remove the pto. This is a great setup and was fully functional when removed. The guy I bought it from was doing a diesel swap in his cj6 and couldn’t use this setup. I was going to use the transfer case and overdrive in my cj5 but it turns out the t14 trans I have has a different spline count so I can’t use it. Looking to get 1000 obo or trade for a warn overdrive for a t14/ dana 18 or let me know what you have. This is a good price as the warn overdrive alone is new over a 1000 and 700+- used”
Looks like at least one tranny is a T-84?
“3 original willys trans for sale also have one transfer case out of 1950 willys all working when pulled”
The price is listed at $75, but I’m not sure if that’s for the tranny or the hubs or?
“GPW or MB Tranny needs rebuilt and hubs are in good shape there are 1/2 ton hubs and one set of 3/4 ton hubs all or sell individually best offer “
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $500.
This setup has a Warn and a Borg Warner Overdrive.
“T 90 3 speed transmission out of an 80’s CJ 5 with Warn Overdrive. There is another reduction gear on the side of the tranny. I was going to use this in my Willy’s project but didnt need my wagon to be slow low geared.
Everything is in really good condition, I had the over drive off and it looks brand new inside. Overdrive has all parts which is rare to find, includes shifter and linkage. OD alone is worth the $500.
Looking to sell but not going to give this away, anyone with a old jeep or on going project realizes the value.”
Steve forwarded this ad for an automatic transmission. It’s setup for a CJ, but I couldn’t tell you what model of tranny that is (I figured someone else could). The story within the ad is cute.
“Complete professionally rebuilt transmission like new, has zero miles on it . Built by my husband who has 35 years as a professional builder. Just a fun fact: He has won the blindfolded builders competition in Las Vegas and a place in the “Guinness Book of World Records” for it. He built an entire transmission correctly in less then 9 minutes completely blindfolded. I don’t even know any builders that could do that without a blindfold…. LOL. Obviously this isn’t his normal speed, but interesting. Fit’s behind a 4.2 L motor no core required.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $650.
Sounds like a good price given the updates.
“T-90 transmission, Saturn Overdrive and Dana 18 transfer case. Each in great shape. Dana 18 has
Advance Adapters, intermediate gear upgrade kit. Low miles since complete overhaul. Lots of receipts…This combo is like new.. Shifts smooth like butter..Everything in the transfer case is new, except for the case… $650 for the lot or
Pulled from a ’46 jeep, this looks like it could be a VEC drive train combo.
“This unit was removed from a functional 46 willys jeep shifted fine. Asking $400 if interested call 574-281-2993″
This sounds like a good price. No pics provided.
“Low mile rebuilt turbo 350 with advanced adapters to dana 18 twin stick with warn overdrive, complete setup that works perfect from a running project. Parting the cj5 it is in”
UPDATE: Steve spotted this for sale.Pics now provided.
“1962 Willys t-98a creeper 4spd, it has 18,285 original miles. It’s out of a 1962 Fc -170 forward control, it has a Dana 18 transfercase that goes with it. 610-804-643one thanks”
UPDATE: This was priced at $1100. **Status Unknown**
Eric forwarded this ad. The ad’s title notes the overdrive is a rare Dualmatic overdrive. Herm has rebuilt these in the past. I couldn’t say if he still does or not.
“title says it all, and has cross member. got other tranfers and trannys also”
This combo might be a good price.
“I’m selling a Dana 18 and TH350 Transmission out a 1954 Jeep Willys CJ3B project. Both pieces were supposedly rebuilt and installed prior to my purchasing and taking over the project. The Dana 18 has a Warn overdrive, both drive shaft yokes,, new torque convertor. and two crossmembers for mounting. I decided to go with a manual transmission set up and will no longer be needing the Dana 18 or TH350.
Serious offers only. Please call if interested. (360) 518-4254″
Blaine has this combo for sale.
“This is from a 1949 Willys pickup. The transmission, twin stick transfer case, and rear output power take off is in good condition. The transmission and syncros looks good so this may have been rebuilt. I may separate so go ahead and make me an offer.—— three six zero835-5191 ——– Late calls OK. UPDATE: Was $450.
Here’s a rare Warn Auxiliary Transmission. According to an article from JP Magazine, the WAT was sold by Warn in 1969 and intended to slip between a T-18 and a transfer case. The writer of the article only remembered ever seeing one of them.
“This transmission setup came out of a 70’s International scout. It will come with the Scout bell housing or a Mopar 318 small block bell housing. The transmission shift good as does the t case. The war in overdrive unit shift good and bolts between the T case and the transmission. I am asking 450 but open to offers. Was going to use in a Dodge pickup to get rid of the automatic but my plans have changed.”
I found this ad in the May, 1969, issue of Popular Mechanics.
Here are three T-84 trannies for sale. Pics of each on the ad.
“one complete with bellhousing- no markings on right side, might be usable as is. came off a 42 gpw $250
one complete no bellhousing — should be rebuilt $100
one completely in parts – possibly an original knob $50 (tower housing has broken corner)
all have towers”
**Status unknown** Was $800.
“Original T84 Transmission, Bell housing and transfer case. Very good take out condition from this 1943 Willys MZ-1, MB radio jeep. Still USMC Forest Green! Tim.”
Dan is selling some drivetrain parts. He is offering $10 off to any buyer that mentions eWillys.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $1200.
Flint is selling this package.
“This is a complete unit meaning T90, D18, overdrive and Koenig pto with winch. As far as I can tell, this is a pretty rare unit to include overdrive and PTO together. I got it for my willys wagon, but you know the story, times are tough. Not sure of internal condition, but looks to be resealed. Was in 60’s cj5 with buick motor. Will not separate. If doesn’t sale, will make it in wagon some day. $1200. obo call or text Flint at 208-371-zero-eight-two-six”
These don’t appear too often.
“Complete Column Shift transmission from a Willys Jeep CJ-2A . Complete but in need of some attention. Came out of Jeep # 29384. I bought it for a project but will never get to it.
Also have 2 2A hoods- $20 each”
If all in good shape, it might be a good price.
“For Sale 4-speed SM420 transmission with granny 7.04:1 first gear mated via Advanced Adapters (PN# 50-2401) to a Dana 18 transfer case with the large 1.25″ intermediate shaft. This is the ultimate set up for short wheel base Jeeps. I had this drive train in my Willys Jeep and it worked great. Comes complete with shifters, cross member mount, and output yokes. The tranny and T-case were rebuilt a few years back. I have since moved to a longer wheelbase jeep and switched this out for a Dana 300. Asking $650. Call or text Dan 559-473-7495″
Mark just posted this at jeeptruck.com.
