“I have 2 1952 jeeps. [ 3000 for both ] They are W-38 -a1 –? …they have original 4 cylinder overhead valve engines [getting specs] ….sealed for under water … both have 23,000 miles….have titles and I am investigating the history…..they were Naval issue …with stainless steel original hard tops…have original wooden doors with original army green paint on inside….were purchased at a surplus auction in the sixtys, and used very little. Kept semi inside, these jeeps were green, then blue civil service color…they still have the remnents of the civil service stickers and #s on hoods…the one has a plate that says Edwards Airforce Base on front bumper …they have different types of info stickers on both …one inteior says commander vehicle ..these jeeps are in great condition, with one with minor corner spot. These are unrestored jeeps sealed with naval blue rustolium in good condition …both motors are free [ and i will post engine compresion on both ] – cleaning fuel systems now and both will be running shortly. They are complete down to the original air cleaners ..everything…even have the jerry cans for back of both.. Will post more info as I get it …email for any questions ….any offers appreiciated as well as any shared info. I am away working from sterling now but i am getting new brake seals , batterys and such to make them go next i go there these jeeps are original ruff but take good photo ..price is nego..
