UPDATE: Was $5300. **SOLD**

That front bumper is unusual.

This rare 1947 Willy’s purchased was by my dad several years ago and used to cruise the shores and get to exclusive hunting spots on Lake McConaughy in Nebraska. Unfortunately, he recently passed away so we brought the it back in hopes of finding a good home for it. My dad loved this vehicle, and as you can see, he put his creativity and character into it – he loved camo! It comes complete with three tool boxes that actually have supplies in them.

As far as we can see, most primary parts are original, however at some point it was switched to a 12 volt system, we are assuming due to the wench requirements. It runs pretty good considering it’s 66 years old, but probably could use a good oil change, some work on the brakes, and new tires. It is not street legal and probably wouldn’t be without some significant alterations.

If you are looking for a fun vehicle to go hunting or run around lake shores in, this is the one for you! Or, if you’re looking for a rare find to fully restore, this is a great one. Not everyone will get the opportunity to restore a 1947 Willy’s as apparently this type of classic military type of is becoming more and more rare.”

    True…..probably means no title….

Hard to tell from the angle, but it does look like a Texas plate.
