Engine smokes some. It’s missing parking lights.

“1949 CJ-3A for sale. 4 wheel drive. Original 4 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission with high/low transaxle. Stock 6 volt electrical system with generator. The following has been replaced new in the last 3 years:

Military canvas top with removable side curtains
New seat cushions and covers
New fuel tank and sending unit
New tires
New sheet metal from the firewall back
New wiring throughout
New brake hoses
New coil
New plugs and wires
New voltage regulator
Many other new parts as well
Complete paint with Military OD Green
Rebuilt carburetor

The engine and transmission have not been rebuilt. The engine smokes but purrs like a kitten and has plenty of power. Transmission and transaxle shift perfectly with no issues. Zero rust through anywhere. Currently I have an 8 volt battery installed for extra stamina. Exact mileage unknown. Fuel gauge does not work. No title…sold with bill of sale only. Vermont does not title vehicles of this age. Great parade vehicle or off-road fun. I do not use vehicle enough to justify keeping. However, price is firm…do not offer less. I do not need to sell. It’s time for someone else to enjoy!

Factory service manual and several extra parts are included. 8v battery charger included.”

Looks nice. Seller says all new steel from firewall back so it must be a new body. Still is a nice jeep. I’ve never had to deal with a state that doesn’t title older vehicles. Have no idea how tough it is to acquire one. Has a rear seat in some pics but not others. Needs spare tire put on

This seems like a reasonable price , nothing a repaint can’t fix. but the title issue is not good.
