Gary, hope you are following these comments. In the linked picture, it appears the rear fenders have a definite separation between them and the bed lower side walls. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in photos of any other FC. What led to that?
The separation between the rear fenders and the bed lower side walls were once filled in with wooden blocks painted red. During the overhaul we figured to just keep the space there so moisture wouldn’t be trapped. We wouldn’t want that new bed to start rusting up.
