“This is a 51 Willys Overland pickup. She runs well and would be excellent for restoration. It has the f134 motor in it and is mostly original parts. There are minor issues such as it needs a new wiring harness.and a good tune up to dial it in. There is some rust, but nothing real significant. It was given to me from my grandfather and I drove it from Spokane 10 years ago. It has been kept covered and dry. I have recently driven it around and she does fine. This is a custom truck, far from stock.
It has a 327 small block chevy
Power steering,
Power brakes (new master cylinder),
TH400, NP 205 Transfercase,
Ford 9″ rear end and yes its the 31 spline, I just re-did the rear end,
The front end is a dana 44, probably from a blazer or wagoneer, 410 gears turning 35 12.5 BFJ Mud Terrains lots of meat left, on pro comp alloy wheels.

I have a bunch of extra parts that will go with the truck, extra hubs, starter, alternator, rear view mirror, sun visor, belts, gaskets, spare tire carrier, running boards, speedo guages, new wiring kit, etc.
I just had the carb rebuilt and the fuel tanks drained and its running like a champ. Been driving it back and forth from work, its fun! The truck has some rust, dents, leaks, holes, and anything you can think of. If you’d like some pictures I’ll be more than happy to let you take them, in other words if you don’t have the time to look at it I don’t have the time either. Its parked outside my house in Ridgefield, you can come over and check it out anytime.

“This 1958 willys pickup is no trailer queen by any means but it gets thumbs up and smiles where ever she goes. I think these little Willys pickups and wagons had classic lines from the day they were built. I use this little truck on a regular basis and it’s proven to a great driver and dependable.
The body and paint work on it is amatuer grade. The cab and doors are solid. The doors shut and open nicely and windows roll effortlessly. There are grinder marks and runs here and there but it is all pretty shinny. The paint on the door jambs and interior are pretty nicely done. The passenger bed side and top right rail is the worst area on the truck. I have considered putting new top rails on the bed sides and doing the outside of the flat sides of the bed in oak to make it look like a woody bed. The floor in the bed is in good shape as is the tailgate. This truck has been in dry country so it’s not a rust bucket.
It has a clean little 250 cu in Chevy straight six in it that looks like it was born there. Like a lot of small block Chevys it will puff a little smoke from the valve guides when you start it. Although a mild engine, it is still nearly double the horse power of the original engine and it is suprizingly quick. With that extra power the Warner overdrive works great. It will run 60 mph with no strain at all. The stearing is tight and it goes straight down the road. The T-90 transmissin shifts quick and easy with no problems of grinding or popping out of gear. Clutch is quite and works like it should. The brakes are ok but they have never been anything to write home about on early Jeeps. With the engine convertion they put in a hanging clutch pedal and the matched it with a firewall mounted brake master cylinder and a hanging brake pedal which got rid of the old typical “squawking” through the floor pedals. It has been converted to 12volts. The speedometer, temp, amp and oil presure gauges work. The gas gauge works but reads 1/4 tank when it’s really empty. It has the millitary style lock out hubs that are precise and easy to use”

This vehicle has been in storage since 2002 in an enclosed garage. New brakes, new tires and rims and new am/fm cassette were all installed in 2002. We just recently installed a new battery and fuel filter. She runs great. We started her up and drove her to a nearby gas station for a fill-up. Lots of fun to drive and gets lots of attention. There has been some touch up paint and there is some surface rust in bed short of that this truck is unmolested. After market brake lights were installed for State inspection requirements. There is also a Mlco Brake Lock installed as well (have no clue what this does). I am getting rid of this vehicle because it is to nice for what I need. “Up for auction, fresh out of the hills of Crossville, Tennessee, another Willys. I have been in the paint and body work field for over 25 years in Florida, I have restored several Willys Jeeps (CJ2A, MB’s, etc) in Tennessee and sold them here on eBay, but I decided this time around to do a 1952 Willys Truck.
This truck would make a perfect store front display or a movie prop. Runs great!
This is all original with the exception of a custom solid oak (seasoned oak) bed! The bed is stained “Golden Oak” and polyurethane cleared. After doing research on these trucks I realized how cool they look with the slat sides, and the fact that this arrived without the original steel bed, my decision was made. Special thanks to my dad who is an amazing woodworker; this truck is now truly a one of a kind! Custom wood burned WILLYS logo on center back oak slat. Interior door panels are also oak wood and stained. You might find other 1952 Willys trucks on the internet, but you will never find another one like this.
Frame was completely sandblasted and painted with automotive gloss black. All original metal, floor was previously replaced in the cab. All dents and rust completely removed, sandblasted, welded, body worked and custom painted. Paint is a two tone tan and brown. Colors used are “Cream in my Coffee” (tan) and “Chocolate Turtle” (brown). This color combination has had more compliments than you can imagine, especially with the golden oak stained bed.
Engine: 6 volt original Hurricane 4 cylinder F-Head. 134 cubic inch. Engine was rebuilt by NAPA in 2002, runs perfectly.
Drive train: T-90 3 speed manual transmission. T-18 transfer case, hi-lo 2 speed. Original self locking hubs. 4 wheel drive works perfectly. Original Timkin clam shell rear-end, last year they made them! 5:38 gears front and rear. (5) 16″ original wheels.
Electrical: Original 6 volt system, but has been rewired for 12 volt system. All you need to convert it to 12 volt is a 12v alternator, relay and coil, 12v battery, and change the lights. Already has a 12v electrical gauge installed and new 12v turn signal assembly on the column. The original vacuum wipers still work. Horn works too!
Items that are brand new consist of:
(4) new shocks (custom painted to match body), new brake cylinders, new brake lines (brakes work as good as new!), new wheel studs (now all RIGHT HAND threads), new chrome lug nuts, (5) brand new Maxxis Mudder Buckshot tires, new battery cables, new rebuilt starter, new rebuilt fuel pump, new exhaust (from manifold back including new muffler), new front axle seals (did I mention the 4×4 works perfectly), new 6volt head lights and chrome rings, new parking lights with chrome rings, new floor mats, new custom covered arm rests, new oil pressure gauge. New brake and clutch interior rubber pedal covers.
I have a clear Tennessee title and a Willys Logo key chain in my hands. She also has a fresh coat of wax.

“I have a very nice 1953 Willys truck, it was a pickup but converted to a flatbed, original 134 four cylinder F head, dual range 4WD, three speed, all original, 12 Volt conversion (new rebuilt alternator last fall), Michigan title in my name, it has been converted to a flat bed with the bed from a 1936 Ford, finished wood oak deck and side rails,very good deep lug tires, RUNS VERY WELL, great “Cruise Night” vehicle or old car show item. These Willys pickups in good running condition are getting extremely difficult to find, they are almost non-existant (check on Craigs List)………
I dont need the money, this truck is only a toy for me…….but I would be willing to trade for a comparable condition Harley WL, FL type springer, Bad Boy, FXST, a Duece Coupe type, T-bucket hot rod, antique auto, ratrod, rat rod, hot rod, replica auto (very minor repairs ok), would even consider a trade for a Corvette………sorry, I am retired and have no interest or time for a project vehicle, just looking for something else.
