“1953 Willys CJ3B Jeep. Clean Title and VIN plate. Was going to be a yard vehicle. Replaced badly rusted rear body with Steel frame and wood deck. New brake master cylinder, clutch and pressure plate. In process of converting to 12volt, new alternator and battery. Started to replace wiring. Patching to rest of body started. I have the hardtop and doors also. Runs pretty good, number 3 cylinder is a little lower than the rest (@60psi). I just am running out of time to work on it and need the space.”

“Framed off 1953 Willy’s CJ3b. I brought it in from the original ranch it worked on till 1978 in western NM. I had it running well and drove it for a couple years till military service called my name. Its ready to start the rebuild and I have all the original equipment to include frame, tub, windshield, tow bar, F104 engine, PTO unit, and many more additional pieces. The hard top in pic is not for this unit but with some cutting and machine work could fit. I’m not going to rebuild so make an offer. “Up for sale is a true barn find Willys! 1950s CJ 3B. Think it has the bigger L head engine but not positive. It is very rusty & has no title. I have no papers of any kind. A friend of mine found it in a barn in upstate NY while picking. He said they hooked a battery to it and it cranked but they did not try to start it not knowing the condition of the oil. I can verify the motor turns freely & is not seized. It’s the original 6 volt system which I don’t have a battery for. It’s all complete including the rare/custom half cab hard top with doors. The one door is off but should be an easy fix. Has a cool in cab heater. Original drivetrain including twin stick transfer case. It rolls fine once the tires are filled up. They have been holding air for 2 weeks now. Great for parts or restoration. Call or text Jim if our serious. Delivery may be possible for a fee if you don’t have a tuck & trailer once paid for. Brakes recently worked on, custom front seats with lap belts and alternate 5 point belts, rear bench seat. Excellent running condition. PTO winch, full roll bar, removable vinyl top, fold down front windshield. Have original rims. Newer set of spoke rims and tires on vehicle.”
