UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16900.
“The canvas is on this jeep looks amazing.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $750
“This is a rough, but very complete Willys Jeepster that was bought brand new by my great uncle. I bought it to resto-mod for my mom, but she has changed her mind and wants me to sell it. It has been hit in the rear. I have removed all of the filler so you can see what you get in the pics. I do have a good, open, TN title for the vehicle. It comes with a locked up engine (F-4 Hurricane) and good overdrive trans and plenty of usable and extra parts. Will consider reasonable offers. I am a car builder and would estimate that you would need about 5K for parts and roughly 300 man hours to get this thing where you’d want to show it. In that shape, it would likely be worth about 9K-11.5K. Will take $750 or best reasonable offer. You must pick up near Coalfield, TN. Might deliver for extra charge”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
This is supposed to be restored, but the driver’s side fender looks a little odd to me.
“RARE 6 CYLINDER ! THIS COULD BE YOURS ! Here is a restored 1949 Willys Overland Jeepster Convertible. It is 2 wheel drive, has a newer top and custom cover for when the top is down. It is on vintage Firestone Sport 500 tires with 80%+ tread. Drives great and has been to many custom car shows. Has been garage kept. Has new exhaust and muffler, plugs and wires, battery, and fuel pump. Corvette yellow paint catches your eye along with gloss black fenders. 3 speed manual on the column. No radio. Carpet and seats are in great condition. Has the Lightening Flathead 6 cylinder engine 148 CI with 70 horsepower. Only 2961 were ever made. Has wire hubcaps with yellow background.”
This is a beautiful restoration / customization.
“In addition to all of that, this JEEPSTER runs like a champ. The seats are very comfortable. The Dodge Dakota V6 engine runs smoothly, burns no oil, and is free of undercarriage drips. Power steering and cruise control add to the enjoyment of driving. It is more than capable of highway speeds and climbs the Nevada mountain ranges with ease. All of the chrome trim is without blemish. There is no underside rust. There are no dents, dings, or gouges. The top and side curtains are in good condition. The tires are nearly new.
However, there are two things that need to be done if the buyer wants to put it into show condition. While the paint photographs well, it is not flawless. Close inspection reveals cracks in the finish. The Spoke wheels need to be re-chromed.
I can no longer afford to keep my Jeepster and an airplane at the same time. I love driving the Jeepster, but I put in hundreds of hours building the airplane, and it is the one I have decided to keep.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
No obvious rust.
“4 cyl. 3 speed. Only 4066 ever made. Book value $7,000 – $13,000. Only asking $4500.00! Respond by phone only as I am posting this for a friend.”
This looks clean and solid.

This looks like a good restoration project. I wonder if it starts and drives?

“1950 WILLYS JEEP CONVERTABLE. EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN!! ORIGIANAL IN-LINE 4 CYLINDER MOTOR. MANUAL TRANSMISSION. COLUMN SHIFTER. NEW TIRES.”
Here’s someone looking for Jeepster parts.
“Looking for parts for my 49 Willys Jeepster. front grille from a 48 to 49 wagon will fit as will the hood. But also need the jeepster chrome strip down the hood and the chrome T that goes on that year of the grill. 50 -51 will not work and are totally different. Also looking for interior parts and gauge cluster which is the square one. And looking for the side steps that go on the rear fenders. Would like the correct seats both front and back. And steering wheel center for black steering wheel.”
This appears to run and I can’t see any rust, though the pictures aren’t the best. This might be a decent deal.
“1949 Willys Jeepster. 327 chevy engine. I dont know for sure how many miles the engine has on it. Factory 4wd. Brakes need work. MAKE OFFER! Any questions call 214-212-8417”
It’s a beauty. I was a little surprised to see the engine area isn’t as polished as the rest of the jeep.

“You are looking at an absolute classic 1950 Willy’s Jeepster that has been beautifully restored. The Willy’s has been completely gone through from top to bottom. Please take a look at the album that I have created on Flickr.”
I’m not seeing the top, but otherwise this might be a good price.
“Excellent shape. All Original. Body is totally straight and no rust. Floor pans in good shape. 602-434-1404.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16,750.
You know, it’s just occurred to me I’ve never ridden in a jeepster (that I remember).
“Dark Red 1950 Willys Jeepster Conv,. Totally restored and rebuilt within the last few years. Jeepster mainly used for parades. Good top and side curtains. 6 cyl, 3 speed, 12 volt. Nice, runs & drives great.”
Here’s another nice Jeepster.
“I have for sale a 1949 Willys Jeepster in need of a good home. Has been garage kept and is rust free. I don’t have the time to give the attention this vehicle deserves. Everything on this vehicle is original, except the top and seat covers which are in good condition. It also comes with the side windows. It has: “Flat Head 4″ Three on the tree manual transmission. Optional overdrive. Previous owner was going to make into hot rod until he found out everything was original. Pulled gas tank to use as template and didn’t put back on correctly, so gas tank has loose connection after going down bumpy road and leaking on garage floor. Haven’t driven in a year, but started and ran great after buying new battery and installing new tune up kit. The only other issue with this vehicle is needing a new paint job and new tires. Serious inquiries only can contact me at (734) 558-1878. No trades. I have enough projects right now.”
Yeah, it’s a project, but it sounds like it might be cool. Hopefully, the body and interior are in at least decent condition …
“Jeepster rat rod project, buick v-6 engine & auto trans ,modified buick frame, been in my garage 20 years. cash or trade,no guns or hunting crap, boats or stereo electronics 586-773-7195 Chuck”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.
Here’s an unusually themed Jeepster.
“This is one neat old Rod. It’s on a s10 blazer frame. Its got a 305 4bbl w/turbo 350 trans. PS, PDB,Tilt Steering.8″X15″ rallys on rear, 7″s on the front. Runs and drives great. Has headlights, taillights and brake lights. Oil,Temp,Fuel and Volt gauge. Its painted up with Beetle Bailey Camp Swampy theme.”
I’m not a big fan of the smaller wheels up front, but it’s pretty hot looking otherwise.
“This is a 1949 Jeepster with a 440 six pack motor. Has been in the family for 50 years. Has been kept inside at all times. I am selling because I have no time to drive it and enjoy it, hopefully someone else will enjoy it as much as I did when I had the time. The car has a mopar 440 six pack engine, bored 0.60 over, has large racing cam, carborators have jet kit put in them, 727 transmission with shift kit, 3000 stahl convertor. Pictures show car with 4 barrel no six pack ….”
This might make a nice project. The body appears in good shape with all its chrome.

“Selling our 1949 Willy Jeepster. It’s a project car, it was given to us and we really don’t know much about it. We don’t have the time or money to make it a driveable vehicle. It has been garaged for the last three years. Four wheel drive. It is a convertible, there is hardware for the soft top. There is an extra hood that is in better condition than the one currently on it. The tires are practically brand new”
For some reason, this jeepster attracted my attention. I’ve seen other nice jeepsters, but the prices on them are normally much higher.
