Bill shared this video of a guy walking through and driving a Massimo mini-jeep. I’ve seen ads for these posted in various FB and Craigslist ads, but this is the first video I’ve seen. At $2500 through Tractor Supply, they aren’t a trivial purchase, but I have to say they do look kind of fun!

“Recently restored 1950s Hamilton Jeep pedal car”
Few Updates Until Monday
I’ve missed out on some updates, but for good reason. Our annual family gathering is this weekend, so I’ve been spending, literally, the last few weeks cleaning, organizing and straightening up various parts of the property, including creating a new parking spot for the motorhome.
So, updates will be limited, but I know there are a few readers who will be sending me some items for sale and I’ll get them up as I get a chance.
Meanwhile, I picked up a few more “folk art” jeeps on the cheap from eBay. This one is about 7″ long. It’s missing one roll bar, but who cares. Someone spend some time building this oddity (shown next to a small Surrey for comparison).
Hamilton Pedal Jeep Denver, CO $475

Wood Model Jeeps on eBay
Here are a few oddball wood jeeps that I thought might interest folks.

Jumpin’ Jeep Fire Chief Toy $80
This Jumpin jeep has some damage (as noted by the Facebook seller), but is still a fairly rare item. Thanks to Andy for sharing it.

“This vintage wind-up toy is perfect for collectors who appreciate the craftsmanship of the past. Made by Marx, this tin litho Smokey Sam Fire Chief Jeep Whoopie Car is a must-have for any vintage toy enthusiast. The brand, Marx, is known for producing high-quality toys that stand the test of time. This particular toy is vintage and has been used, but it still retains a lot of its original charm. It features a wind-up mechanism that spins the fire chief’s head. This toy has certainly been loved, and there’s some minor damage to the fire hat, front of the Jeep, and ladder on one side (see photos).”
Al-Toy Modified Body
UPDATE: Geoffrey won this Al-Toy body auction on eBay and then got the lights working. He’s wondering if anyone has a parts to help make it into more of a complete model?? It appears he needs wheels and a windshield at the very least.

Nelly Belle Pedal Jeep $4500
Bill shared this rather high price for a Nelly Belle pedal jeep.
https://www.classicautomall.com/vehicles/5120/1954-roy-rogers-nelly-belle-pedal-car
“A 1954 NellyBelle Jeep pedal car in unrestored but still in usable condition, well as long as you’re on the smaller of stature side. Perfect for a mancave or to bring along when you show off your real CJ2A. Now a bit of history thanks to Onlinebicyclemuseum.co.uk ‘NellyBelle’ was among the most popular items of Roy Rogers memorabilia sold during the currency of the TV show, (and since), and jeep models were sold in various forms. A small diecast model was marketed by Stuart, and a 15″ plastic ‘Nellybelle’ was sold by Ideal, complete with a trailer, character figures and Trigger the horse. Marx made a large pressed-steel version, as well as a plastic model in its Roy Rogers Rodeo Ranch Set. The pressed-steel Marx model was the most accurate in colour to the original: with a plastic Pat Brady driving and Dale Evans in the passenger seat, it was 11.75″ long and 5″ wide, and included the cut-out below the windscreen on the passenger side through which Roy Rogers shot his gun. Saddle up pardner!”
Tonka Gladiator Dump Truck and Auburn FC-150
Thanks to Joe-in-Mesa for finding these two toys and scoring them for only $20 (for both). Neither are pristine, but they will work in my collection.
Bandai FC-170 Stakebed Toy Altamont, NY $40
Gary shared this FC Stakebed model for sale. It’s missing the tailgate, hubcap, and part of the windshield. Maybe a good price could be had on this.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/938858907932530
“This is a nice smaller size collectible in played condition. Missing one hubcap, tailgate, and part of the windshield. I have seen these referenced as friction cars. It does make a winding sound when pushed on the floor, but doesn’t “take off” (if that’s what it’s supposed to do).”

Liberator Belgique Wood Jeeps
I won the ebay auction for these two interesting wood jeeps. Each measures 6-1/2″ long x 4′ high x 3″ wide. I tried to look up some information about them, but didn’t have any luck. That said, I just had a gut feeling that there was something interesting here, so I bought them. Anyone know more about them?
