“Very rare 1947 Sears and Roebuck trailer. Perfect for Jeep owners or anyone with a small truck or car that needs more hauling capacity. Has Ford truck/Jeep lug pattern so you can put matching rims on it. Has drop downs like a commissary trailer. Bed is 46″ wide x 6′ long x 12″ high (inside measurements) and has a tailgate. Prior owners bought it in 1963 and used it for camping by putting side boards and a canvas tarp over it (support rods included). Comes with a new trailer light/wiring kit. Has heavy duty fenders that just need to be bolted back on. Has some rust but usable as is or do a full restoration. I was going to treat it Por15 rust stop and then plastic bed line it but figured I’d go ahead and sell it as is and let the new owner decide how to restore it. “A really cool, rare & historic T3-C Bantam military trailer from the 1940’s. Has just the right amount of ‘patina’ with original ‘combat wheels’ & fenders. They are only original once! Bed is in good shape; has a tailgate, stake pockets, a 2″ hitch receiver, swing down ‘tongue stand’ and a 4 flat electric plug for the tail lights. These military trailers are getting harder and harder to find in this nice of condition. $950 cash – firm.”

“Completely RESTORED 1967 Steven’s M416. The good…everything has been gone through. All the bolts have been replaced with grade 8 bolts. This trailer does not have a cut tailgate as I have seen others. An Original lunette alone is worth $475 easy. Just check around. The lunette IS included. Just look at the pictures! It does have a fiberglass Tonneau cover on it painted to match the color on the trailer. The bad…the tires are not new but they hold air but I don’t trust them on the freeway but that’s just me. It does come with a spare and two brand new tire inner tubes that ran me $45 PLUS the M416 NOS manual. The bearings are new and they have been installed professionally but that was 3.5 years ago and since then the trailer has been kept in an inside storage and not in use. I would strongly suggest the bearings be redone.”

The rims are worth more than the trailer.

Rodney’s selling this trailer. Looks like it has potential.

“Selling a civilian Bantam T3-C trailer. The trailer is usable as-is or can be restored close to original. The paint has peeled and trailer has lots of surface rust. Some heavily rusted areas might need patching. Overall, the floor is solid. It has the 1-7/8 Fulton coupler and the original front leg support. Chains are all there but could use de-rusting. I had to have new tires installed on the trailer in order to pull it home. Tires have less than 70 miles on them. Tail light wiring are there but I have not tested them. The tail lights seem to have been replaced by the previous owner. The rest of the trailer seem to be original. The trailer has the pockets for the bows.

Data plate is gone. Don’t know what year it is but looks like a later model. No title or registration. Will be sold with a Bill of Sale. Original California license plate is still attached. I’m not sure what needs to be done to get the trailer titled and registered. Perhaps the license plate can help track the original records.”

“For sale. Steel body single axle utility trailer. Trailer has 15″ tires. Steel bottom and steel stake sides. Fold down tail gate and steel stake back frame. Paint has seen better days and there is some rust. First $300 takes it.”

The good news is that the trailer isn’t a rust bucket and can be used as is. However, a tree dropped on one side damaging it.

These trailers were designed for, but not limited to, use with Civilian Jeeps. (CJ2 CJ3 CJ3A) Amazingly, this one still has it’s original hitch and data tag, but no fenders. ”
