Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Craig found this truck mis-listed as a 1944 for sale. Could be a good value.
“1944 Willys jeep with a dump body on it. Needs restoration. I had never received the title from previous owner when I bought it about ten years ago. He kept telling me he will get it and never did then I lost his # and never heard from him. If it is necessary I can apply for a lost title I believe.”

Has a Dump-O-Matic Bed and a rear PTO. The paint appears rough in some photos.

“Rare Jeep Willy’s Truck! Runs and drives, Straight 6 engine, just had brake wheel cylinders and master cylinder replaced. Frame is in good condition. 3-speed manual with hi-lo drive. Factory mounted plow control to raise/lower plow. Plow is manual angle that I had custom mounted last winter. I do have a second parts Jeep with motor taken out, that one in much rougher shape. ”
