This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Seller of a jeep would like to get it back.
“Approximately three years ago my girlfriends father sold his mid-fifties Jeep CJ to a gentleman from somewhere in the central to the north end of New Hampshire or southern Maine. It was sold in Wolfeboro, NH and towed away to where ever.
The seller was a man named Richard and he has since passed away. His daughter, my girlfriend and soon-to-be fiance’, has many great childhood memories connected to that vehicle and wishes to purchase it back. We are happy to offer a great profit to the seller if we can just locate him and get in contact. The physical and/or running condition of the Jeep is not important in any way – it just needs to be his Jeep.
It is as follows:
– a 1955 Jeep Willys (looks a bit more modern – like a CJ – not the square fenders)
– red faded paint
– in very stock condition
– snowplow mount on the front (or at least it had one….)
– half cab hardtop without doors
*** Looks very similar to the Jeep pictured in the photo attached to this post but the hard top is different (it ends right behind the doors).

A friend of mine is looking for the following hard-to-find parts for his farm jeep. He’s a serious buyer, but not real good with the internet, so has asked if I would help him try to find them. He’s willing to pay for shipping (using Uship) from anywhere in the US.

In Nov of 2012 this GPW was on eBay. It also appears earlier here.. It was eventually sold to a dealer in the UK who in turn sold it to David Fairhead. David is wondering if anyone knows who the seller from Pennsylvania. He’s hoping to learn more information about its history. (BTW, he’s already successfully found some additional info at G503 — it was originally in Maryland).
