About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1959 Willy’s wagon project. New tires, new fuel system (tanks, pump, and lines.) New head liner. Have new replacement glass and gaskets. Mostly installed. New master cylinder. Does run and drive. Carb probably needs to be tuned. Still needs a new wiring harness and some trims pieces and odds and ends.”

“1950 Willys Woody Wagon. Real wood paneling inside and out. Body is on a mid 80s Toyota P/U so 2.2 L motor with 5 speed. Willys charm with Toyota dependability. Titled as 1950 Willys with collector plates. Videos are available.”
UPDATE: John spotted this video. This 8×8 was last listed on eBay and sold for $11,100. It was relisted in 2014, at which time the video below was posted. I believe this sold, as it is no longer listed on the seller’s website.
(08/11/2012) “Built by legendary fabricator Dick Cook out of California be sure this rig was was put together the correct way! Known for his collaboration on the mechanical side of cars built with legendary 70’s car builder “Big Daddy Ross” his name is synonymous with multi-axle vehicles. This build includes the following:
-2 Overland wagons and 1 Jeep used to build this amazing Overland Custom
-Rebuilt 327 Corvette engine powers ALL 8 Wheels!
-Fuel Cell inside
-2 Leather Bucket Seats
-White face gusges
-Working emaergency sirens and lights
In full disclosure, the items that are not 100% show quality as follows:
-There is a bit of overspray on the drivers side
-The interior could use some TLC to get to show quality
This Willys will literally go anywhere, and it has. Dick Cook personally drove this rig with his daughter from Crested Butte Colorado all the way over the pass to Aspen only a few years ago for a road trip. With the option of locking out the rear 4 wheels this rig will motor down the highway at 65 mph. Also has one of the best turning capabilities of any auto out there. It will “crab” down the road in a parade or 8 wheel steer itself out of any trail corner. Bid now and be the owner of this one of a kind WIllys 8X8 Overland before it makes its way to Barrett Jackson Las Vegas and goes for who know how much!”
“This 1949 Willys station wagon is a 2-wheel drive example powered by a 134ci L-head inline-four mated to a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The truck was reportedly refurbished by its previous owner with mechanical overhauls, a repaint inside and out, new upholstery, and more. It was acquired four years ago by the seller, who has since stored it indoors as part of a large collection and has driven it about 300 miles. An oil change and chassis lubrication were performed in 2017. This Willys is offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.”
(04/09/2018) “Been in the family since 62 or so and garaged its whole life. 99xxx miles. The jeep ran when we parked it but hasn’t ran in over ten years. that being said just needs a general tune up. spark plugs, new gas, oil, carb cleaned, battery. just small stuff. Chevy 260. Slight bit of rust underneath the driver door on the body but nothing major. Very good condition for its age.
very clean jeep, just dont have time or space for it.”
“6 Cylinder

Complete drive train
Not running.Have turned motor over with battery.
Clutch is working.
Over all, Willys is very solid. Pics taken that point out the areas that will need body work.
Frame looks very solid.
Have another head and new shocks, 2 side windows
Have clean title in my name.
Please text, call or email with any questions.”
“1952 jeep willys took it apart to restore only did some lost motivation ran great when I parked it. 4wheel works great . I have everything in the tub and ontop of chassis”
Appears pretty rust free. The slip brake lights look like they fit well.
“My Buddy Jim wants to sell his 1951 Willys Station Wagon 4 x 4, runs and drives, overdrive, great shape, pictures don’t show but got the bumpers. Clean AZ title”
“1951 Willy’s Wagon for sale.
161 Lightning flathead 6 cylinder.
Three speed manual transmission.
Four wheel drive.
600 miles on rebuilt motor.
Body was removed and all rust cut out.
New steel welded in as needed.
Frame was sand blasted and painted.
Underside has been undercoated.
Pretty much everything has been replaced with new or good rebuilt parts.
Runs and drives fine.
This is an older restoration and is not a show vehicle. This is a driver and has defects.
That being said it’s a cool head turning vehicle that will go through just about anything.
Very low gears so don’t plan on going fast in it.
These trucks were geared for off road use.”
