“for sale is a 1959 jeep willy s very good for restoration it is in good shape for its age . it is not running or driving been seating and r covered storage for long years now the owner willing to sale and he asking $ 4500”
Dan spotted this wagon. He notes it’s a good deal if the price stays low.
“1953 Willys Overland Station Wagon…..2Wheel Drive. I’m not 100% sure of the exact year model but believe it to be a 53. The truck is in extremely good shape and the only rust I have found on the vehicle is the front floor pans. The rust in the front pans is only in the center of the sheet metal and is not into the structure or seams of the pan. There is no engne or transmission. The rear floors, doors, rockers, tailgate, roof seam, etc., are in perfect shape. Suspension is all original. All the glass is still in the truck…some is cracked in places but is all there.
All in all a very nice rust free (for the most part) Willys Overland. It was going to be a personal project but you know the story…..along came a baby girl !!! And we all know which one took priority. You won’t be disappointed in the body on this truck …it is in very nice condition.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900
(11/17/2012) This looks pretty good in the first pic, but not as good in the other two. The drivetrain has updates.

“1953 Willy’s-Overland Station Wagon (The Original SUV)
Runs and drives great
Original engine and transmission have been replaced with that of a 1967 Ford Mustang 200ci inline 6 cylinder and 3 on the floor gearbox — great for reliability but unfortunately they removed the transfer case in the process.
Leather Captions chairs”
UPDATE: Still Available
(01/15/2013) This runs, but needs some work.
“This is a 1962 Willys Jeep, runs, mostly stock except radio (with cd player) and gauges.
4 wheel drive appears to work (I got stuck until I put it in 4 low).
Needs brake work as it leaks out the brake fluid over time.
Needs upholstery work on the front seat, other seats have already been re-done.
For a full price offer I will include a receiver rack from Warrior Products and a tow bar.
Delivery is possible up to 50 miles away or you can drive it home.”

“1957 willys station wagon, 2wd, 26000 original miles. It does not currently run. This is from the Shriner’s burn institute, it was used to pull floats in parades. “1961 Willey’s Jeep Wagon 2 Door 302 Ford motor with about 2500 miles on it, has orignal 4 speed manual transmission with high and low range, it is a 4 wheel drive with lock in lock out hubs, runs great, shifts great, all lights and signals work, tires have about 90% tread, still has orignal gas can and orignal spare tire, 4 way lug wrench, the seats in back fold up for more room to haul stuff, the back seat side glasses slide for good air flow, the back glass raises up and the tail gate goes down, if you ride with it down the lincense plate folds down for visibility, great for hunting, camping, surfing, or joy rides overall its a party wagon. ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This is a good looking wagon.
“Stunning example of a 1955 Willys Wagon. No expense spared when rebuilding this Willys. 15 thousand in chrome, trim and paint. Rebuilt engine and transmission.
Original, except for the disc brake conversion to the front brakes and the radial tires. Making the Willys about 100% more road worthy.
Started with a rust free Washington State Willys. Removed all the body trim and went to work. Added some trim to the vehicle and sent all the chrome and trim to be de-dinged and replated. Finishing touch and Calco did the work. Painted the vehicle after all metal was checked.
The interior is as it was 60 years ago. Seats have been resewn in part and the wood slats were restained. I had to install a new head liner and visors, just too far gone.
If you lift up the front seat, it looks brand new, untouched from new, just amazing. No radio and still the original 6 Volt system. Original oil bath air cleaner. Both seats.
Everything works as new, 4X4, transmission, engine, lights, brakes, steering, good glass all around, etc.”
UPDATE: I believe this sold on eBay in November. Now it’s for sale again, though it has a carrier that isn’t shown in the below pics.

UPDATE: Guy found some great links regarding this Bus, which was also known as Jitney (see Steve’s links in the comments). According to a New Jersey Transportation Heritage Center report dated September, 2010, there is no known C-10 in any collection. The ATHS society believes at least 25 buses were built. The Chassis is Willys, the Body is from ACF-Brill, and the model is C-10.
This picture from Flickr shows the bus was branded Willys on the front. I was surprised to see that.
From 02/07/2013: This 1947article shows an example of ACF Brill Model C-10 Bus built on a Willys Chassis. Anyone heard or seen one of these? At least a few went to Atlantic City. These were designed as small, inexpensive buses for marginal lines.

It needs some paint at the very least, but looks solid otherwise. This is a parkway, yes?
