“I have a 1946cj2a Willys jeep. It is licensed and insured/tagged. I use it in parades and on the farm to move my log splitter. It is not a show car/ I use it and drive it regularly. It is all orginal. I have upgraded to 12 volt and put a electronic distributer (no Points) other than that it is stock. It has a brand new complete rebuilt 12 volt starter. Like new tires. All lights work, all gauges work, no wipers (easy fix) just have not had time. I also have a original hard top that needs to be reworked, it has the doors also. A fresh reworked radiator. Runs good 50 miles per hour uphill down hill or flat land. E-brake works parking and brake lights work.The only thing wrong with this Willys is a leak in one seal on the transmission, I have to add transmission fluid twice a year. If you are interested let me know , might even trade for something? I have owned this jeep around 5 yrs and have a updated title off of the orginal. This jeep is all legal with insurance 10.00 a month with full coverage. E-mail or call 870-213-5332 if no answer leave message and a return phone number, I will call back same day.. Here’s a reproduction of a PR photo of an experimental CJ-2 jeep pulling a wagon.

I have converted the lights and alternator to 12 volts for brighter headlights but the jeeps comes with its original regulator, original generator, gauges and tail lights etc …. everything to put it back into 6 volts.”

Yep, people do some surprising things with wagons.

Mark just posted this over at sellajeep.com. It’s listed as a 1951 CJ-2A, so either the year or model is wrong.

Complete Ramsey winch and front bumper for Willys Jeep fc170. Seldom do you see the complete set like this, would take quite a bit of time to track all the parts down. It is a heavy beast so shipping is something to consider. Wife likes to travel so might make some arrangements to deliver. Have more pictures if you want them.
The bumper has brackets for a front hitch that Bubba put on but you can easily grind them off. There is a dent in the bumper, how they could have done it I don’t know, but I think Bubba had something to do with that also. Anyway, I think it adds character and a story (no charge). Bumper was sand blasted and then painted with POR 15.
Prior owner said he cleaned and overhauled the winch and it looks like he did.
The PTO is not in the pictures but will go with it. Right now it is on MY FC because I haven’t found the cover plate to replace the PTO. I know I have one but it is in a very safe and secure place right now.
As far as I know it is complete but what you see is what you get.
Have some other fc parts for sale: gas tank, seats, rolling frame with engine, radiator, axles.

This well done jeep model was built by a Macedonian who wants to own a real jeep some day. I believe he has the skills to take care of one!
He writes on youtube, “Model Jeep I spent 3 months on. I know it’s not perfect, but it’s better than nothing. Real WWII Jeeps in Macedonia are extremely rare, if not impossible to find. Also I thought it would be far more fun to built rather than buy a model Jeep. Work was done during the summer of 2009, 2-3 hours a day, often late into the night.”

This looks pretty solid. One of the commenters believes this might be an early GPW.
“Up for auction is my Jeep Willys MB in very restorable condition. Very solid body and no rust on frame.(Don’t let the pictures confuse you) The only rust on the body is on both sides of the head channels, approx. 4” long. Can be repaired without removing panels. 5 Original Combat rims with all new tubes & tires. Engine turns by hand. Tranny, 4 wheel drive, Hi/Low levers move freely as they should. Vehicle stears nicely and rolls freely.
My opinion is that this is an easily restorable project. The vehicle is 90% there, all original including almost all original E C marked bolts and early zipper style cushions. (see pics) There is the original front bumper and wooden filler. I believe that the body was never taken off the frame. Vehicle has clean transferable title. It is titled as a 1943 Jeep Willys Ut, which I’m not sure is accurit, since I don’t have the original data plates. Vehical originally came from California.

This looks very nice, though the drain hold near the step looks filled in, so I’d check out the body closely.
