(06/24/09) This is a nice looking CJ-3B, however I don’t think it will fetch the asking price. I’m gonna guess that the tranny is a T-15. I had a T-15 (with a built buick 225) in my last jeep and thought it was fine for both racing, jeeping and the road.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $3000 … amount invested increased to $6000 … year changed to 1946.
(07/10/09) “I have a 1946 Willys CJ2A that I have been restoring for the past several years. I have ran out of money and need to sell it. I have put over 6000.00 in parts into this Jeep. I can show every reciept I put into it. It does have some moderate body rust, So that would be the biggest issue with it. It starts and runs great. I do have a certain price that I cannot go any lower on as I have put alot of time and money into it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800
I’m not sure if this is a brand of golf cart or a custom build.

Brett spotted this rare Ensign 100 that’s in great condition.
“This is a Ensign mine mantrip that was purchased by my dad from a local mine in our area. It is a very well built outfit complete with 3\4 ton axels with disc brakes all the way around. It is powered by a 3.9 liter cummins 4 cylinder diesel with a chevy turbo 400 tranny. It is very low geared and tops out at about 30-35 mph. It runs and drives great. It has plenty of ground clearence even though it is only 2 wheel drive. With a little work I think it would be easy to make it a 4 wheel drive. It seats 2 up front with seats over the wheel wells. It has been here at my house since it was purchased and the kids and I have enjoyed driving it around our place. It would be great around a ranch or to use as a cruiser or to build a crawler out of it. Please feel free to call or email.”
I can’t tell if they run or not.
“2 jeeps. approximately 1965. one is a tuxedo park model. 1200.00 or offer for the pair. call 435-724-8518 for more information.”

This might not be a bad price. Brakes are cheap.
“This Jeep was going to be a “project car” which I have not set aside the time for. I have used it for the last two years just to plow my driveway. The master cylinder was just rebuilt however the brakes do not work. The plow works great and it comes with an excellant condiiton best top with no rips or tears. The motor runs great and all aspects of the four wheel drive system function as well.”
UPDATE: Was $990. **SOLD**
(02/20/2010) Here’s an FC Project. Check out the list of recent work done on the craigslist ad. Lots of good pics at the link below.
“I bought this FC 150 last year with the best intention of restoring it. It reminded me of my old 404 Mercedes Unimog. I still really like it, but I don’t have enough time to restore it. I also own a 1974 Jeep J-4800 gladiator pickup and I can’t justify owning two pickups. The cab lower parts and pickup bed floor has rust and needs body work. It does run and drive fine though. The transfer case and transmission works well in all ranges. It has Warn locking front hubs which I just cleaned and greased. I removed the fuel tank, flushed and treated the interior with a rust converter. Registration is current and the CA title is clear in my name. No DMV hassles and is smog exempt…. Problems include the rust I mentioned above, a broken speedo, cracks in the door window glass. Windshield is not cracked however. Engine kind of sounds like a diesel, but has good oil pressure. I have never owned a 4 cyl jeep before so it could be normal. Exhaust needs replacing. Fuel pump was replaced with a solid state electric one by the previous owner. It works fine. The mechanical fuel pump is still in place, but I never tested to see if it works. Tires are old and should be replaced. The seats are probably not original because they don’t fit right. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
With some paint, this might clean up very well. It’s got no rust, but also has no seats.
“1947 Willys Station Wagon: Converted to 12 volt, alternator, new tires, powder coated rims, original paint “luzon red”, new shocks, brake linings, new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, borg warner overdrive, good glass all around, some rust in front fenders where attached to wagon near doors. No rust in floor pans or rear quarters! This vehicle would make great resoration, as is in “original condition”. No rust in rear tailgate, original single lens back light. Lights, dash guages, electrics, work fine. The original 4 cylinder engine runs fine. Good radiator. Three speed column shifter works excellent. Runs and drives well. Steering is tight. No seats inside. Wide oak cargo liners are in good condition. Original Willys Overland rubber floor mats on steps, both drivers and passenger side. More”
UPDATE: **SOLD* Was $5000.
It appears in good condition.
“1948 Willys Jeep 3J3A. New Motor, New top, 16′ wheels & tires, 4 cyl 4 wheel drive, new brakes & lines, willy’s tailgate. 12 volt start system, electric wiper.”

(03/27/2010) “1947 Jeep Willys 4×4…. All Chevy running gear….Including a 4.3 V6, power steering, tilt wheel, and power disc brakes…. All gauges, head lights, tail lights, and blinkers work great…. It has really nice seats in it…. I would like to trade for a 4-wheeler (I would prefer a 4×4), or something else cool, maybe even a cash offer? The tires in the pic DO NOT go with it….the wheels, if you want, can go with it….I have some other smaller BFG’s that can go on it if you wish…. Thanks….”
Dave forwarded this to me. I know it’s not a jeep, and I haven’t called to see if this ad is for real, but it’s so funny, I don’t care.
“Looking for a first car for a teen? This car is absolutely brilliant. It’s got low mileage (68k), has been super reliable, and is excellent on gas. Since you’re likely paying for the gas, this will make things much cheaper on you. I average like 37MPG to a tank. And with such low mileage, it’ll work great for a long long time.
But you wanna know the best reason to buy this car for your kid?
It’s slow as shit. You don’t have to worry about speeding tickets or accidents in this baby. Your kid could have a 1 mile run and hit a brick wall not wearing a seatbelt and not be going fast enough to do shit. And there won’t be any sense in him getting some shitty ass fart can off of eBay – this car has the super slow SPI engine, no sense in trying to make it any faster. It’s a 4-door, so your kid won’t try to put gay ass Lambo doors on it. It is still possible to fit this with a body kit, but if you’d like, for an extra $200, I can stab him in the face if he does this.
It’s a 5-speed, so your kid can’t talk on his cell phone while playing Gameboy and smoking pot – he’ll have to actually pay attention. It also means you won’t have to pay for an automatic transmission when your kid beats the hell out of it. It’s got a new clutch and new tires, so you’ll know if he does burnouts. After all, I’m sure YOU’RE the one paying for tires, right? It’s got an aftermarket head unit in it, so your kid won’t fuck it up when him and his buddies try to wire in a “phat ass system”. It’s already had the speakers replaced too, so he won’t have to tear the door cards on and then look like a retard when he can’t get them back on. It’s got manual windows too, so he can’t fuck up the window motors when he rolls one of his friends heads up in it as a joke. A new battery means when he leaves his headlights on, it won’t leave you totally stranded.
But really though, one of the best parts is that, because it is a 4 door, it will be somewhat embarrassing for him to be seen in. I’m sure you get pissed at him from time to time. Hell, you’re probably mad at him for harassing you into buying him a first car. So get this one. It has no A/C, so you’ll know he’s suffering every time you get mad at him. Pretty satisfying. It’ll bring a smile to your face too, to know he’s rolling around looking like a faggot in a Ford Focus.
So buy this car for your kid. You won’t regret it ”
This runs and looks good for the price.
“1956 Willys pickup. All original. Box has been modified slightly. Must have been some kind of ranch truck. Runs fine but after driving around for a while oil pressure gets low. has a little ticking noise. Needs gas tank(missing was rusted out) and fuel pump(leaks) to get back on road. Odometer says 21000 miles, not sure if that is correct. pedals feel solid and shifts fine in all gears, 4×4, low range. Previous own did work on transfer case and interior. Still 6 volt I drove it around Rapid the winter of 07/08 a lot. Been sitting most of time since then. I just start it up every now and then. I don”t have time to fix it up. Has good tires and spare set of tires and wheels. Call (605) 391-2910 or email me if interested. ALL OFFERS BEING CONSIDERED. If you want pictures of specific areas, let me know i will email them.”

“WTS I need money to pay bills so my toy must go. I have a ’42 Willys that has a Buick V-6 engine with tube headers, Offenhaeuser dual plane manifold with Holley 4 barrel carb. This little jewel has B/W 3 speed and a Dana 20 transfercase all feeding Dana 44’s which are equipped with ARB air lockers. The back differential also has full floating axles and Warn hubs. This Jeep has a Rancho lift kit and new Bilstein gas charged shocks. A 10.5k Milemarker hydraulic winch finishes up the front end. It has had $6k worth of body and paint work. There is much more that I’m sure that I have not mentioned, just look at the pictures.”

The gas line needs flushing, but I am not sure if it runs or not.
