UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4900
This looks like a very nice CJ-3B for the price.
“Available now is my ’53 Willys Jeep. It appears unmolested – which is to say that it looks reasonably stock and is in very good condition for its age. Adult owned – garaged. Has a functioning 8-track tape player (and tapes) and a Johnson 23ch CB radio, too. Included (but not shown) is a rear cargo rack and a fold-down rear seat. Also included is a Bikini top. Mechanically, it has had all of the desirable modifications done: Buick V6, SM420 transmission, Saginaw steering, Warn winch, KC lites, etc. I replaced the entire suspension last year…new leaf springs, shocks, shackles…even new grease fittings! I’d consider trades for a very cherry Samurai, Toyota 4×4/4Runner, or maybe a small convertible sports car like a Miata. I have many pics of this Willys and would be glad to forward some to you. E-mail me with questions.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2500
(10/16/09) I suspect this is a little rougher than the seller suggests. I’m not sure if it runs or not.
“All original ,4wheel drive, only thing it needs mechanically is some engine wiring. Would be a nice project for anyone who’s into antiques or 4 wheel drives. Makes a great off-road jeep! Asking $2500 obo, hate to sell it, but we’re moving and can’t take it with us. Might also be willing to trade for dependable 4door car or extended cab truck. Call 913-269-9801 -Jason”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000

(03/23/2010) Given the plow, there might be some value here.
“1954 Willy Jeep Station wagon, with plow runs ok, needs some tlc. 4×4 works good. 3spd trans, original 226 6cyl., plow work good, no title, rare collectors item….”
This is a well done rebuild with a variety of interesting mods. It’s worth a look through many of the images.

This certainly has some unusual features. I can’t say I’ve seen a roll bar quite like that either. There are no comments by the seller, other than the mileage of 276 miles.
This might be a great, relatively easy restoration project. It looks in very good shape for the price.
“ORIGINAL 1949 WILLYS JEEPSTER CONVERTABLE STARTS AND RUNS. ALL ORIGINAL HAVE TITLE AND ORIGINAL SIDE CURTAINS..”
It looks like there is $450 worth of parts on this jeep. It even runs!
“1955 Willys Jeep project or for parts – it has a sears roebuck upper body, 4 cylinder standard, does run but needs work. $450 or close offer, must be sold by Sunday 4/11. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1999.
“I am selling this very rare 1967 jeep cj5A tuxedo park Mark IV project. Just rebuilt original Buick 225 Dauntless v6 engine, t86 trans and Dana 18 transfercase with FACTORY warn Overdrive. Worth more than this is parts, but this is ONE OF 89 built in 1967. More rare than shelby gt500, GT 350, and 1967 Z28….:) Anyhow, think the throwout bearing was installed wrong, and so it grinds when push in the clutch, I put it on stands and pushed through gears…does fine, so will need to pull clutch and put back together. Runs good though….BUT needs a full restoration. Not even 10 miles on engine rebuild. Not much rust, but welded on bumpers, and at some point the windshield frame was replaced with good glass from another jeep. I have no idea what year or modelof winshield frame. Brakes need replacing, in place but need rebuilt. I put coat of flat green on to get by till someone restores it. New plugs and dist cap as well. Have clear title in hand. Will need trailer. Call or email with questions.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Here’s a sharp looking CJ-5.
“1966 Jeep Willys CJ5 Totally Restored, Hard to find in this condition. Must Have!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3750.
(12/03/09) It’s a bit beat up, but it’s got indents. It doesn’t have a column shift. It includes a trailer not shown.
“Vintage Willys in good running condition. This Willys has been used at a ranch in the Texas Hill Country (warehouse stored) for the past several years. I am selling the ranch, so the Jeep is available. NO Title. This is a RANCH jeep….has not been driven on city streets in several years. Also available is a custom made trailer to haul this vehicle (additional $750 for the trailer). Trailer has valid TX license plate. The Jeep has been converted to 12 volt, has a recent starter, almost new tires, plus many more features.”
This was available for a few hours and is already sold, again, after the first buyer backed out!
Dave spotted this deal. It looks like a good price. It has an OD, Rear Posi, nice older-style top and more.

Good News! I found myself a set of professionally rebuilt heads for a great price (thanks Greg!). Greg Berheim dropped me a line after I posted my craigslist Ad (wanted: engine heads). He wrote that he had acquired a set of heads as part of an engine/parts buyout and didn’t have any use for them.
So, I drove over and met with Greg. It turns out, Greg operates the Berheim Engine Machine Shop, a local engine shop in Meridian (208-870-1464), Idaho. This information was especially interesting to me as Bob’s Mechanical had been bought out and most of the services moved about an hour away from me.
So, after spending time with Greg and him generously providing some advice and thoughts on my engine issues, I now know who to turn to if I need any additional work done (which I really hope I don’t need soon!!). So, if you are in the Boise area and need some engine work done, check out Greg.
Tonight, I pulled the passenger-side head and will get the covers and intake cleaned up tomorrow. I also carefully cleaned the surface of the heads, as the block facing surfaces had some light surface residue that needed to be removed. Saturday, I’ll put everything together and see if everything works!
Roberto has created a new jeep t-shirt for Panzernet.com. You can view it below or see it at the panzernet website. Thanks for sharing Roberto!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
No year mentioned, but this is definitely a DJ-3A based on the speedometer. However it has been modified into a 4×4. It looks like a good price.
“Fun for hunting off roading or every day use…Willys Jeep Dispatcher Flat Fender 4×4 , four speed, four barrel V-6 , Headers ,Great tires runs good even has leather electric seats.”
