(09/06/2010) In many respects this looks good, but there were a couple issues that caught my eye. The rear bumper is strangely bent downwards and in the front, a cross piece has been welded on top of the frame and the driver’s side frame rail has been welded and drilled. So, I’d check this frame out closely as it has some miles on it.

“47 willys overland. has a new fiberglass tub, has been recently painted, engine i believe has been rebuilt. it has the original flat head 4 cylinder, i just did a bunch of tune up stuff to it to get it running good, has all new coolant, thermostat, tested radiator for leaks there was none, i have been using it for a daily driver it is fun to drive. has new rims and 31s on it now, comes with original wheels and tires, has soft top and soft doors but need to be mounted, needs little things like wiper linkage, the front window linkage and it needs the passenger seat mount, has a tool box in the back doesnt have a back seat. any questions please ask.”

This looks like it has three data plates instead of one.
“Full frame off restoration with new: shocks, springs, shackles: brakes :shoes,lines, wheel cylinders & master: complete exhaust: clutch pad, ring gear, 2nd gear,plastic gas tank w/fuel seperator, radiator, wiring package, seat frames & cushions front and rear. Converted to 12 volt with starter rebuilt to 9 volt. Body is clean ( no bondo) , professional paint job using orginial paint chip , Michigan yellow and clear coated. 5 wheels. (09/02/2010) This looks like a nice jeep. Note that it is missing a fuel inlet on the driver’s side of the body, there is no tailgate, and it appears to be missing the drain holes by the steps. This may be a MB body or a fiberglass body.

The 4WD is rare. 1949 was the first year that Willys introduced the 4WD to the Wagon.
The Wagon is in good running condition and is great for shows and Sunday driving.
A paint job would help improve the look of the Wagon.
