    I cant remember on that one, was either a factory M38/M38A1 tire carrier (retail about $69) or it may have been a civilian carrier (retail about $25) with a 1″ home made square tube spacer to clear edges of tailgate etc. jim

    Very NICE!! I ‘ve got a 49 3A that is painted that same funky green and have been wondering what to do with it. I like the makeover idea, may give it a try before swapping out the “F” head.

    flat military spray paint is great stuff, can make an old ugly flatty a ton of fun for no money and no fear of scratching it! Jim
