1950s_cj3a_greenfieldUPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000

I don’t see a battery box in the cowl, but I do see a M-38 gauge panel.  In  general it looks very nice.

“1956 JEEP CJ 4×4 – LESS THAN 100 MILES ON 3.8L CHEVY V-6 ENGINE, TH350 Automatic Transmission, 4″ LIFT, Pathfinders on Chrome rims, SOFT TOP, Bimini top, 8000# WINCH, Stowmaster tow bar (removeable), NEW BRAKES INCLUDING WHEEL CYLINDERS. Chevy steering gear. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT OFF-ROAD VEHICLE AND COULD BE A JEEP COLLECTORS FAVORITE. It’s abut the size of a Rhino (59″W X 124″ BUMPER TO BUMPER, 74.5″H) This price is less than what was spent on all recent work – at cost.”

    It’s no doubt a ’52 or ’53 3A. Not a M38 – no tool indents. Not a 3B so can’t be a ’56. 3A’s ceased production in ’53.

It could potentially be a DJ-3A as well, given the ’56 date. OR, it’s a little bit of this and a sprinkle of that.
