This has seen a few mods, including a rear gas tank with the filler through the rear passenger side.

That was hard to read. I hope someone doesn’t getting bidding too high thinking they are getting something they are not. I wonder why the frame got extended out the back. Maybe its for the gas tank mod. Its got mutt wheels and a F-head

Something looks askew, too, with the transmission crossmember and how it is attached to the frame. Either the brackets for mounting have been removed or this is a postwar frame?
Bo .. that’s a good catch. The frame appears to be a CJ-3A or later frame (there were a few late CJ-2As build with that type of cross member as well).
