Not perfect, but sure looks solid.

“6 Cylinder, 4X4, 89K. Very solid for the year. New water pump, alternator, and rear brake lines. Great restoration project or drive it as it is. More pics and info available.”

Yeah .. but wasn’t sure what it meant. I figured either ‘hick’ ‘wagon’ or ‘Hi’ ‘C’ Wagon. Did you have any ideas?

I called on this one, it had a few blemishes not seen, (valve stem seals, new floors welded over rusted ones etc. ) It HAS been sold though as I was still considering purchasing it, and was called with the news. I live in NY on the Canada border and if you hadn’t noticed by now… most of the stuff here has salt cancer pretty bad. I LOVE this website!!! My first wagon was back in 1977 and it was a REAL Maverick. I’ve had too many jeeps since then to count (really) but am down to 2.. a 61 CJ6 and a 64 CJ5, but I want a wagon so bad I can’t stand it! They have all but disappeared here in the St. Lawrence valley (between the St.Lawrence river and the Adirondacks) and those I find are rusted to the point I don’t want to deal with. Thanks to this website….the right one is going to come along…..I’m just gonna be patient.

Wayne .. thanks for the info on this jeep and the feedback in general. I sure hope we can find one for you! I’ll update the post. I’ll email you a tool that might help also.
