(10/02/2012) Dan spotted this beautiful wagon, but it’s not cheap.

“Rare 6 Cyl “Tornado” OHC Engine, 63k miles, like new in and out, 2 owners for last 38 yrs, not interested in dealers call only”

    What’s with the back glass in the tailgate, that doesn’t look right.

    Also he says “not interested in dealers” if you have something for sale why would you want to discourage ANYBODY from calling?

    If the mint green ones of the same era remind me of a dentist, then this one reminds me of a casino…

    That’s some serious money.

    The late 50s and early 60s wagons had a much lower roofline with a ribbed top, one piece windshield glass and one piece tailgate glass. This looks original to me. $23,500 is a lot of money, but I saw two at Barrett Jackson in January that didn’t look this good that sold for a lot more.

    “dealers” typically want to buy at a wholesale rate so they can flip it at retail.
