UPDATE: Sold on eBay for $8000.

This seller calls this a M606 styled CJ-3B. It appears in good shape.

“Very nice, original unrestored 1964 Willys CJ3B in the service skin of the Vietnam war period. These jeeps (last of the Willys Flat Fenders) were sent by the hundreds to Vietnam They were not used tactically by the U.S but in security roles and staff duty vehicles in garrison around Saigon ect.
This vehicle in in very authentic configuration as the 3Bs put into service during that war.
Original condition with no rust or rust repairs ever..
The 134 F head motor powers this vehicle, transfer case and lockouts operate perfectly. There is a chipped tooth on the 1st/reverse gear that makes
a noise in 1st and reverse but does not effect the performance of the vehicle.
It has a military canvas top and windshield cover.
I am the 3rd owner, the 2nd owner was the original owners son who took possession of the vehicle only 4 years ago just before I purchased it.”

I remember lots of Mitsubishi jeeps that the ARVNs had – real nice jeeps and they looked like a US Willys CJ3B, with the Mit. grill logo – they were made under license. Most were diesel. Contractors had jeeps and Land rovers of ever kind. But by the time I was there (’69) US forces had M151s. I believe early in the war there may have been some M38A1s, but I never heard about or saw flat fender M38s or as this ad is selling civilian CJ3Bs in US service. The Navy may have had jeeps other then M151s. I also remember an outfit, maybe Aussies with Mahandra & Mahandra jeeps – also made under license

    Tom,

It looks like that sold for $8000. One bid was made and it was accepted. I’ll update the post.
