I had a 1973 wagon about 15 years ago that looked the same, down to the grill insert, the lower tailgate insert, and the corner-mounted taillights and running lights.

360 V8, Quadratrac all time all wheel drive, pneumatically activated posi (via an air switch in the glove box), Automatic, Cruise Control, factory AC, leather seats, power windows…

Man, what a ride. Even at 11 miles/gallon, I still miss that wagon… I was living in Connecticut at the time.

My first vehicle was a 67 just like that one, Only Mine was rusted out all to hell. spare tire tried to fall out of the rear quarter where it is suppose to be. Had a 327 V8 Vigilante engine
with a 3 speed on the tree. Ran that all around the summer i graduated from high school and then sold it to someone to use as a yard plow.

Pascal .. I was very tempted, but another reader told me he wasn’t going to buy it. I haven’t received a confirmation that it sold yet.

I took a gamble and bought it sight unseen. Having shipped to So Cal. Hopefully it is nice as it looks. This makes my second jeep bought from ewillys! Now I have three Jeeps and this is my first wagon. It will be kept stock and restored as needed.

Congrats Niels! Keep us inform about his shape. Based on my experience, it’s always look nicer on picture then on real life. But this one look very very nice and the price was very good.
