“Auto restoration is a hobby of mine and I spent over 4 years meticulously repairing or replacing the entire vehicle with re-manufactured or the closest OEM replacement parts I could find.

Here is a list of my work:

The engine was pulled and sent to a reputable local machine shop for rebuilding.
New clutch plate
Carburetor cleaned, new kit installed.
New radiator felt cowl installed.
New oil bath air cleaner mesh/oil.
New distributor points/coil
Re-manufactured Starter
New Battery cables and frame ground
Re-manufactured 6v generator
OEM voltage regulator/solenoid
New 6v Battery
New fuel hose
New Timing chain
New sparkplugs
New horn brush/button assy
Honed and rebuilt all brake cylinders
New brake shoes
New Non-Directional Tread Military-style Tires/tubes
Sandblasted and repainted Frame
New marker/brake lights
New OEM cloth wiring harness
New OEM oil pressure gauge/sensor
New OEM temp gauge/sensor
New windshield cowl weatherstripping
New windshield glass/rubber seal
New hand-stitched leather shift boots
New choke and throttle cables/knobs
New windshield wiper motor
New wheel bearings/U-Joints
New OEM steering wheel
New waterproofed canvas upholstery
New high-density foam seatcushions
New Imron industrial-grade paint

This is nearly everything on the vehicle! It turns over easily and fires quickly, runs smooth and drives even better! There are less than 100 miles since restoration.
I would love to keep and drive this awesome Willys, but I will be graduating soon and need to trim my student loans.
