UPDATE: Still Available

(02/14/2013) The seller lists this as a 1951, but it has a 2A plate that indicates it is a 1948 CJ-2A. The body is patched in the rear. The steps are odd.

“1951 Willies-Overland Jeep. 4×4, Turn signals, vinyl seats and manual transmission.”

If I have ever seen a $1500 jeep this is one. There is so much new flat sheet metal bolted and riveted onto it! Notice the rear of the jeep sags to the rear? Wrong engine. The list goes on and on. I think this dealer got taken on the trade in deal he made.

Remember, no titles in Georgia for older cars, makes it darn near impossible to register them in other states. Makes you wonder why there are so many older cars advertised in Georgia, did they come from somewhere else?

Thanks Buzz. I wonder if anyone has put together a list of what it takes to get a title in different states for title-less older vehicles. That could be useful.
