Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Jeep just announced their Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition. This is supposed to harken back to (or at least celebrate) the simplicity of the original civilian jeeps: the CJ-2A. When I look at it, I don’t see “2A”. However, I like the WILLYS sticker on the hood. Here are a couple links to more information:

Big deal! It isn’t a Willys, no matter how many decals you stick on the thing. To me it’s no different than taking a Ford, attaching some Chevrolet decals to it and calling it a Chevy.
