Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Not sure if perching a jeep on jerry cans was an approved mechanical strategy, but seems to work for these guys. I don’t remember ever seeing that done.

I’ve never seen that either. I guess you would have to fill the jerry can with rocks or concrete before doing that or it might collapse, right?
