“If you are looking for a Jeep that is mechanically sound, dependable and a lot of fun this may be it. Is mostly original except it is painted and has decals as a military jeep just for fun. The seats were recovered by the previous owner. The vehicle is for fun and for farm or ranch or a hunting lease use. And, it is EMP proof.

Here are the details:

This is a 1951 Willys Jeep CJ-3A with a 1946 CJ-2A windshield. New tires were put on the Jeep two years ago. The jeep was painted 3 years ago after any rusty areas were repaired with fiberglass resin and fiberglass matt. The repairs were not fixed with bondo. The paint job is not perfect by a long shot but still looks pretty cool. Underneath the body has been painted. The jeep is near perfect mechanically including transmission, rear end, transfer case, 4 wheel drive, steering, and brakes. The engine, transfer case, differentials, and transmission have new oil. Brakes were rebuilt last year. Motor cranks every time, does not smoke, and has always been dependable. Jeep has an antique tag and is road worthy. There is a new soft top on the Jeep, new battery tray and the Jeep was converted back to 6 volt. The electric fuel pump was removed and a new mechanical fuel was installed making this Jeep totally EMP proof. Also has vintage gas tank that is not shown in photos. The Jeep has been completely re-wired with authentic cloth-covered wire.

In the past, this jeep was used by United Airlines to pull luggage carts and still has a brass plate on the dash with United Airlines and the vehicle number on it. Because of its use, it only shows approximately 6,825 miles on the odometer.”
