Most of these ads have no contact info. If you see something you are interested in, you are out of luck. Tried going to the Craigslist site for a roll cage, brings you right back to ewillies and no info. I guess they aren’t serious about selling.

It’s been almost 11 weeks sinse my first reply was posted. No reply from eWillies, yet. Seems that if they cared, i would at least been told where to go with my reply. Not good business.

    Hi Ray,

I must have missed your comment from October 8. I get a large number of emails daily and do my best to respond to all of them.

You are correct that many of the older ads have expired. As I have explained in my FAQ section (http://www.ewillys.com/about-2/faqs/) this isn’t a normal classified ad site. I keep the expired ads around so I can organize them for historical and research purposes. This information has yielded some interesting results.

Craigslist ads expire at different rates. Some expire in one week, others take almost two months to expire. If you click on an ad and it has expired, that means we have to wait until the seller of the item reposts the item to Craigslist. On some jeeps for sale, I’ve seen sellers wait two years before reposting an item. But, at least with eWillys, you have a general sense of what’s been for sale and what people are asking for items.

If you have a specific question about an item, feel free to comment on that particular post and put in something like: “Is this still for sale?”
    OR
You can send me an email with your question(s) at d@ewillys.com

    Thanks,

    – Dave
