(04/28/2014) It looks like this is a replacement body.
“1948 CJ-2A in Harvard red with NDT tires that like new. The engine has been fully restored with a compleate parts breakdown avalible to look at. There is also a new steering wheel included in the restoration. Please email with anyother questions.”

Several features stick out here. Tailgate and possible tool indentation on the passenger side indicate M-38, but that glove box is all MB/GPW. Frankenbody?
That’s why I think it is a replacement MB body from the Philippines when they were still putting indents on most (all?) bodies. This might have been a transitional body as they worked to improve their MB bodies.
